This was a long time ago. I had just bought plants for spring planting, so Plant came to me.

We've got 8 inches of snow, 0 degree forecast for tonight, more snow tomorrow.😢 I've been here in Arkansas a long time and never seen anything like it! I'm ready to cruise someplace warm!

I am grateful that I survived this last year and now have awoken this morning to be one year older today. When I sign in to Twitter, I get those adorable balloons!
If you have cake and ice cream wherever you are, be sure to have some today. I would send you some, but they do not have an up-load for food items on this forum.
Stay safe everyone and lets get through this next year and come out the other side to the normal we once knew.
🎂
Happy Birthday! I hope your day was great!

I had to clear the cc files & images from the chrome cache to get the icons back today. On a phone or tablet, tap menu (3 vertical dots, too right), History, Clear browsing data, Cached images and files.
Thanks! That worked! Appreciate your help!

Instead of stars or dots I only see boxes in front of subjects, posts, etc. How can I get those back? TIA

Well had to cancel our January cruise. Final payment was due. 😭 Even though we knew we would have to cancel, it was still having it booked that made us feel better. We had wanted to take this cruise for years but for a long time the itinerary only went once a year and it was never a good time. It was a 10 day cruise too. 😭 Damn covid!!

The day I found CC I had just bought a lot of plants from a nursery. I'd planted most of them and was very tired, so I said "Plant"! So silly!

Used the Patient Portal to send a note to my doctor asking if the Senior Flu Shots had come in yet. Got a reply that they are now available and to come in today if I like. We immediately hopped in the car and went to the office. We both got our shots (no waiting) so, hopefully, we are good to go for the year - at least for the flu. I almost didn't even feel the injection so I was surprised when I saw the length of the needle and how far it went into my wife's arm. She didn't really feel it either.
It'll be sore later 😞 . Totally worth it!

Thank you, Cody, and may her memory be a blessing to you all.

I am trying to let all of Roz’s friends know that she has passed away. Her service dog Horton is here with me. He has been retired and will live out his days here. Thank you all
Oh, no! I'm so sorry to lose my friend Roz :(. I'm glad that you have Horton. He must be very upset and depending on you to take care of him. Give him a hug from me, please. I'm brokenhearted.

Do you know how they make that unusual sound?
Air is sucked in through the nose to make the hee sound. And then it is blown out the mouth to make the haw sound.
Interesting to know! He's so cute!

My boat was 56’ from end to end, and basically 6’ wide and high. Probably around 40’ living space but I was quit happy there on my own, well myself plus two dogs anyway. It taught me how unimportant “things” are, and years later I still have very few personal possessions.
You can get wider and longer boats, but my boat was the largest size that could travel along all the connected inland waterways in England and Wales. I loved the life. It was bohemian and relatively carefree. Most of all, it was the sort of lifestyle which attracted faintly disapproving looks from “respectable folk”.
I live in a small house now, but I’m pleased to say I have avoided becoming respectable.

Your post made me wonder which CCL ship I'd sailed most. Imagination and Triumph tied at three each, followed by Victory, Freedom and Fantasy twice each. Not sure I have a favorite, but remember thinking Paradise needed some help when I sailed her in 2016, so I was glad to see she got a refurb a couple years later.
I'd love to cruise with both of you!

Linda, I'm so sorry. I hope you feel better soon.

Sorry about this cancellation but not surprised. Hopefully, by the end of this year we will see many changes in our world and by the beginning of next year we will be able to go back to a more normal life......which will include making some much needed travel plans. ☺️
Really looking forward to those changes... .

We've used the same TA for years. I found her by the reputation of the agency she works with. I called and asked for a cruise specialist and there she was :) !
To us she's worth her weight (and more!) in gold.
Asking for recommendations from friend's is a start.
If I was taking a 7 day cruise I probably wouldn't bother her, but for a longer cruise she's indispensable!

I'd love to read "real" books. Unfortunately, I don't see as well as I used to, so reading on my Kindle where I can enlarge the type makes me happy!
