Not worrh it. You can get lemonade, water, hot chocolate and a few other drinks for free. Also something that we do as a treat is they get sparkling apple cider at dinner a couple of nights. Since we do do not drink wine we can bring the sparkling cider on board instead. The one thing I do think is worth it is 1 or 2 photos.

I have done it for less

what are your pros and cons of stuidios on jewel? I have never done a studio before. But may book one.

I would be too worried about something going wrong. But if you book with royal they would not leave without you.

It seems to me that your vacation would have been better if you had done research before hand. You could have found out about the pool, hot tub, and elevator before cruising. As someone that plans vacations for someone wheelchair bound I can not imagine starting my vacation without first knowing what will be inaccessible. Maybe consider this a lesson learned and be more prepared next time.

My gameplan for my kids spending: ages 14 & 11
Each have the refreshment package.
I have been told by many that I can buy arcade cards that I can put a preset amount on. They have both earned about $50 for this with extra chores.
If this is not an option I may give them cash.
I’m not giving them the optionto spend on their sail pass cards.
Ship is pretty much cashless

We set up a spending limit at guest relations. However it did not stop the kids from going over. It was not by a lot but I was not happy that the limit was not enforced.

Wondering what is the current price difference between what you paid and the current sale for a junior suite?
-
What ship & dates.
I was looking at a bunch of cruises last night b/c I could not sleep. So I do not remember which ones. But the cruises I was looking at were mostly 2019/2020 out of florida.
-
Not a ggg sale. These were for 2019. And not for any of my sailing.
-
might want to do a price check for this new sale. I just saw a balcony for the price of an inside on one sailing. And on another a balcony for less than an inside. Others were fairly close in pricing. So you might want to see if it is a good time to self upgrade.

If they need an accessible room why would they book a nonaccessible room? These room are few and far between. We have to book them 1+ years out. If they can not make do with a nonaccessible room they should not have booked. And if they can than they should not try to take rooms from the people that need them.

I eat so little on a cruise that I always lose weight. So I just enjoy the company.

As someone that has been a vegetarian most of my life a little advice. Always check what is in your food. Meat is in a lot more foods than you think. From skittles to apple pie and many other place you would never think of unless you
Check.

Just to be clear when you say she has mobility issues is she in a wheelchair? If not she should not be booking an accessible room.

I have been waitlisted twice on cruises when booking around a year out. The first cruise I never got off the waitlist. The second cruise for december 2018 i was. I just noticed the other day on the cruise planner that it had been changed. So just wait and see.
-
Are you on the waitlist for early dinner? If not you might want to do so now. You never know you could be changed before you board.

I had similar issue before. I called royal and they emailed me the form.

I was on ind last year. And it had nothing was preventing people from going in the chapel. So i think if you go on a ship that had a chapel you could easily do something unofficial. Or maybe you can splurge and get a nice suite. And do it on the balcony and then enjoy the suite for the rest of your cruise.

I am at the very early stages of planning a trip to europe. It will probably be in 2-3 years. I was thinking about possibly doing a cruise while there. I have heard that the food is different. Any orher differences? Tia

Awesome

I have connecting boardwalk balcony staterooms. I think I read something a while back about these rooms not having a couch. Is this accurate? I am sailing 1 adult and 3 minors so if we have couches I can let them all sleep in one room. Tia

Who says that the room you currently have would sell at todays rate. That room could stay unsold or be sold for less than what you paid for it.
