Happend to my friends on Princess couple years ago. Big family boked 5 cabins together near each other just to find out in port! that they been upgraded .
Ya ,please we did it twice. Agent start laughing now because she did it twice and twice mine and my brothers been changed. We are first time cruisers with Princess so they think we are stupid and will accept cabin near elevator or over promenade deck.
This is absolutely not comparable, but I will ask for table change if tablemates Comes in Baseball caps and shorts for dinner (that's why I don't cruise NCL) or they speak only their own language, and I don't understand it.
Thank you for information. It's absolutely annoying to make all this phone calls now, when its busy everywhere. Especially when it's a second time, so easy to call and ask customers if we want to upgrade, no mention, we specified we don't.
For all of you who been making comments that no upgrade should be selected to avoid one.... well, we did it(twice) and we got upgrade for same cabin second time. LOL I will have to call agent again tomorrow and try to check it back again. Really annoying.
Why its only for US guests? They get sick less than other nationality's? Really MSC first you gave Black membership to anyone who wanted it now you make rules only for Americans. We will stay with Princess. Thank you.
Thank you all. I got my cabin back and my brother got next door from his original one. Now we will monitor it . It is forward cabins and I hope they are not really using it for Covid as it been said here. We are deck 11 and 12
Got email from Princess that us and my brother got upgraded 🤬 . I spend two days booking us proper cabins close to each other ! I hate aft cabins and my brother got cabin right by elevator two floor up from us . Our cruise in January so why would they do it I have no clue. I booked my cruise online from third party so now I spend my evening calling around to get my cabins back. I really wish they would ask customer if they want new cabin before they actually do something.
