I would go 17, 18, 19 in that area. I’ve had the ones on the other side and it feels like there is more traffic. I don’t like all the plexiglass on the pinnacle ships because it does cut down on the air flow. On the non pinnacle I prefer the ones facing the pool for the airflow. I haven’t been on the Rotterdam but have been on the koningsdam and nieuw statendam which are exactly the same.
Starbucks can't get anything right. I ask for a skinny latte extra hot no foam. I have zero problems getting this heard properly on the ship and any other place I go. At Starbucks it comes out with vanilla, caramel, oat milk you name it. When I've complained it's all my fault because I don't say it as non fat milk. Yup, that's it.
You don't see it on here because this is the new menu. The gnocchi you had is not good even though some people rave about it. I've come to take recommendations from here with a grain of salt. I've never been disappointed with the tomato seafood soup and the vegetable risotto (gone from the new menu) and the osso bucco. I'm pretty sure you could enjoy those. The chocolate tart is wonderful. Hal is never known for large desserts. Their gelato in canaletto tastes like its been in the freezer for 10 years but people say that is good too. It's not. I believe the poster you quoted was referring to this new menu not the old one you had.
I had an awesome massage on the koningsdam. When I get a massage it best be a deep tissue. I find it pretty difficult to find, even at home. You just never know and it's hard to waste so much money because they are twice as much as home.
On my last 2 cruises I’ve waited several hours for the video to show. I’ve done a lot of cruises so it’s not confusion on my part. It eventually did show.
Why is it on every thread like this the people that use a ta are absolutely brilliant and those that use a pcc are morons that want to waste money? It one thing to make a suggestion but to have to convince those that don’t care to book the same way is another.
The biggest savings on there I saw came from non refundable fares. I’m not interested in that. Every day it seems there are people on here thinking those fares are refundable. Don’t really get that. It’s in the word.
That’s anyones guess and could change from week to week. The westerdam was really struggling with being out of a lot. Is it still? Who knows. I don’t think until you get on the ship that will be able to be answered. What you could try is starting a separate thread and asking about your ship in particular. Even then, you might not get a great idea if supplies fail to show that week.
For those that are bored with the Caribbean you should come up to Canada in January when it’s minus 40 for a couple weeks plus a foot of snow. Guaranteed you’ll be cured fast 😛🤪. Give me warmth over Alaska any day and yes I’ve been there a few times.
