Actually it was slow at first but I only pre purchased 2 because of all the issues I had on the last cruise. This cruise has been 1000 percent better from the accounting perspective. I was talking to a couple in the Canaletto a couple nights ago. She was on the koningsdam in March when I was on. She told me she had no end of issues on her account. It must have been a really rough patch and we got caught in the net. Yes I’m on the koningsdam.

I don't eat like that but what is the big deal? If someone wants to cut calories somewhere why should that be something to ridicule?

What is wrong with people blowing their nose and leaving the dirty tissues on the table. I would go to my room or bathroom but clearly lots of people are raised by wolves.

Agree with you 100 percent. I try to avoid the Lido as much as possible. I go early and try to sit as far as I can from others but someone just has to sit right next to me even though there are tons of other spots. I eat primarily at club orange and specialty restaurants and don't go in tenders. Like you say it's definitely the luck of the draw.

It's been on pretty much every night if not every night on the koningsdam. It's an always available item though some are doubting that.

I just want hal to charge everyone an actual fare. I pay plenty for mine and take a number of the up charges. What they should do is give you certain perks based on what you pay. I’d be good with that. I have no interest in subsidizing others.

If that puppy is there next week I’ll take a picture. Now I’m starting to doubt myself 😉. I mentioned it on the roll call for next week but one person thinks I’m making it up that they will be tendering. They got a notification from their ta that the only tender port is Cabo. So there you have it, koningsdam will be docked next week so they best be working hard on the dock 😛😂😄. One other person said we have dibs because we will be there first. This is awesome 👏. If only.

I have a colleague that used the same disposable mask for months. He got Covid. I’m also very careful how I touch mine. I don’t touch it with anything but clean hands. I don’t use it as a chin mask or store it in a dirty pocket. Not saying you do but this is some of the behaviour I’ve noticed.

It’s only at lunch on the koningsdam from the look at of it. I looked at the dinner menu and there is no sushi tonight. It’s dressy night so I don’t know if that makes a difference. I know you are asking about the nieuw statendam but I imagine the pinnacle ships are the same.

I thought you were waiting for Covid to be over 😛.

I think a lot of people think this makes them bullet proof. I’m still very careful along with my family. None of us have had Covid. I don’t know your personal situation but I can tell you about 98 percent of the people I’m cruising with are not wearing masks.

The longer cruises are testing, at least they were. There are many, many people on my cruise that live in San Diego. They can just drive home. I don’t have that luxury. I have to fly home to Canada. If you live at the port or drive it makes things significantly easier.

Nope. I've had zero luck doing that. People love to say that about so many things on ships. Just because it happens on your ship doesn't mean it happens fleet wide.

I have never heard exact numbers either. I would love to be on a ship of 1450. We have almost double that

You can cruise safely. I’ve done it twice. I’m on my third and hope to make it through the third. I wear a mask all the time except when eating or drinking. I don’t do shows, but I rarely did before. I spend a ton of time outside. I have a woman that’s in the cabanas that is barking (coughing) a lot. People just think Covid is over but it’s not. That’s the problem.

You never know. I’ve seen people complain on cruise critic because they go through 7 or 8 coffees in the morning. If I did that my hair would standing on end. To each their own.

I've never had one. I hear they are quite sweet so I don't think I'd like it.

Those are the only 2 ships here now. You may be right but there was another ship here this morning I swear 😛. The cabana steward had to point it out to me because it was all white beside a white building so it melted in. That was around 9:45 am Puerto time. I don’t recall seeing it since but I might have not looked. No alcohol yet today so it’s not that.

It seems a lot of ships are coming back to Mexico and I’m happy for the Mexican people. For a long time there was hardly any cruises to the Mexican riviera.
