unlike the drink packages where you can only buy drinks for yourself.....you have 4 drinks that you can drink yourself or give to someone.  We just returned yesterday and my wife and I spread our drinks over our entire family...no questions asked.

    Are they top shell alcohol?

    TIA

On most gty’s I’ve done, I’ve gotten good locations. My thought is that a lot of the cabins that come up around time to assign gty’s were booked early on in the best locations and are cancelled later on. (At Final Payment time)
Saving 15% is a no brainer for me…

Do they have butlers like celebrity ?

    TIA

Can anyone tell me the current cost of going to one of the specialty restaurants?  It had been $30 pp but I am not sure if it increased and I can't seem to find the info on Azamara website.  Thanks!

Get a suite. It cost you zero. Hhahha

I would have to agree with Air Canada.   FBC is an agent and makes the decision on payment.
Curious if there is a difference in prices.    I just purchased a flight Vancouver to San Francisco and full transaction including seat selection etc was in Canadian $ (not FBC).     The price ended up approximately the same if I had booked it on FBC.

Uhmmm. First time I see you around. Here

    Welcome on board

Are you planing to try Azamara ?

We are sailing to Brazil /Carnaval this coming February we will be travel with U.S passport and a second passport another words we are dual citizens

Using the second passport dos not require a Visa to enter Brazil

We are just wondering how many travelers to Brazil  are doing the same

Your thoughts and information are greatly appreciated

Supporting tourism is not Brazil's motive here. They are upset with USA, Canada, Australia, Japan because Brazil removed VISA requirements for those four countries in 2019, hoping to convince those same countries to reciprocate. USA, Canada, Australia, Japan did not reciprocate so Brazil reinstated the VISA requirements to what they were before. In other words, If you are going to make Brazilians go through an onerous VISA process to visit the USA, we are going to make USA citizens go through an onerous process to visit Brazil. It's tit-for-tat.

The visa application requirements for Brazilians to visit the USA is far more difficult than what we all are experiencing. Brazilians have to make and wait for two separate appointments: 1) visit an "Application Service Center" to get fingerprinted and photographed, 2) visit a US embassy/consulate to be interviewed.  There is no "e-Visa" option. The non-refundable application cost is $185 USD.

Of course, I agree that the Brazilian e-Visa application process is way harder than it needs to be. And it's very frustrating to have this pop up now, so close to travel dates for many of us.

This was a private seafood specialty dinner we attended last evening ($75 pp). There were six courses, and about 14 passengers attended. The food and wine were outstanding!

If you decide to do Antarctica again, I encourage you to consider one of the Ponant ships. We did the sailing "Beyond the Polar Circle", 22 nights on Ponant's Le Soleal ship, which visited the Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica. I was magical, with zodiac landings, and walking among much wildlife and flora. Ponant is a French line, and their food was wonderful, and they did many nice touches like a champagne party on an iceberg. We loved it.

We departed the Quest in Buenos Aires, just before this sailing, and the repair had not been made at that time. If you want to check if it has been completed, the most telling way to do so is to go to the back of the ship and look at the trail left behind. When facing the back, the trail/wake is strong on the left side, but very light on the right side from the lack of propulsion.

    Good point good observation

No issue on Onward in October - we checked with the spa desk and they added a sticker to our room card - and we could come and go as we wished.

Also seen firsthand and heard people discussing the same - being told it’s not possible to access without a purchased pass.

Still listed as a suite amenity even though it isn’t.

It isn’t? How you got that information ?

I hope not we will be sailing in a suite

Would 8060 be similar (less noise from above) being next to 8058?

    Thanks,

Yes, the picture above shows the standard divider.  Some cabins have a solid metal divider where there are bulkheads -- the white spaces on the deck plans (as you can see in the image below.) ofc, that metal is one side only.

Can you please tell us the difference between cabins.  V1 AND V2 ?

    We appreciate your input

    Thanks

I'm sorry to be a doom merchant, but I was in 8070 on Quest and requested a move after the first day. The cabin is directly below the bussing station in Windows Cafe and has a tiled floor.  It was the subject of noise at all times of the day. If you can change then I would.

There will probably be a second table somewhere on embarkation day. Ask where it is at Guest Relations - it could be on Deck 5 in The Den or Discoveries bar or outside on the pool deck. They will be able to tell you when White Night is too.

We are sailing with our friends they booked a veranda V1? We are planing a C/C we would like to dine with our friends. V1  and C/C passengers have the same dining rooms ? Any input is great appreciated

Yes, there is ship's superstructure that covers a small upper corner of the veranda at the rear.  Search on Azamara Quest and look for an image that shows the ship from the side.  It's not a big deal.

    Thank you

  16. We are sailing on the Quest  Club Continental cabin 8070

does any body sailed in this cabin that can give us some information ? Our invoice says there is

30% obstruction view we are not sure if this information is correct

    Your input is greatly appreciated

    Thanks in advance
