Following along...and looking forward to your review. I will be on 09/03 solo as well, but my first time on the Getaway. Looks like you live where I live so yeah, Delta is an issue. I normally fly in the day before and I would but the only flight I can make gets me there late evening and I wouldn't even be able to do minimal sight seeing on top of that NY hotel prices for a holiday weekend (even if I am paying with points!) makes that seem like such a waste of $$$. So I decided to do a 1-way rental and drive to NY. Should be there by 10AM. Car rental return is a couple of blocks from MCT. I will take a 1-way flight back LGA to CMH as there are no time constraints on my return. I did check Amtrak and I don't have 15 - 18 hours to spare so that was not going to work. I'll be interested to hear what you end up doing for pre/post transport.

I experienced this on the Bliss in February. I booked 12832/MB. When I arrived I was informed my cabin had been "reassigned". I was ready for disappointment and "missing bags", however I was given a similar cabin 10838/MB and my bags were at the door. Interesting because when I looked up and down the hallway - there was only 1 other cabin with bags. Ship was not full so not sure of the reasoning. I did not inquire as my two biggest potential issues a) cabin placement and b) missing luggage turned out to be non issues and I was moving on to the Veuve...

I did see High Tea advertised on the back of one of the recently posted dailies....let me see if I can find that. I remember thinking to myself that was my favorite thing on Princess and if NCL is going to start offering it - that's a good thing.

I also have a cruise out of NY although not until September 3rd. Delta is also my preferred carrier mostly out of CMH. The holiday weekend has me skittish to say the least. Sigh... I am thinking of getting a one way car rental and flying back when it matters less what time I get home.

There has only been one instance where I have experienced sporting events not being available. Nov 2021/TA Rome to NY on EPIC. No NFL and it was never really explained why the games were not available. As a sports fan, I sincerely hope your viewing choices are available for you.

Yeah, I used to be able to get them there (so convenient!), but now the only flavor I can find is Italian Creme (which is awful - IMHO!)

Hi - I tend to go on longer cruises and I'm pretty picky about creamer so here's what I take....no refrigeration needed until they are opened. 😁 Obviously, it adds weight to your bag so there's that.
