  1. Did you end up going in December? How did it work out for you and what did you end up doing? Any details would be great. Thanks.
  2. @Sunshine3601 So sorry to hear the sad news. Prayers for your family. @ReneeFLL Love your purse. I remember the beautiful one you had with you on the Bella cruise. @mo&fran Hope you see some sunshine soon. We've had about 10 days straight of nothing but clouds and rain. There is no snow in the whole state. The skiers and snowmobilers are very disappointed in the season so far. @Sea Dog Glad Linda is doing well. As others have stated, the physical therapy is very important. I didn't think I'd ever be able to raise my arm after my rotator cuff surgery. Now, I can't even tell I ever had an issue. I did take about 6 months to a year to have full recovery. Tell her to hang in there. It will get better. @A&L_Ont Looks like a wonderful place. Glad you are all enjoying it. Busy week ahead. Finishing up packing, haircuts, pedicure and all the other pre-cruise stuff to take care of. We fly out on Friday to Baltimore where we'll catch Vision of the Seas on Saturday for a 13 nighter to the Southern Caribbean. It will be nice to see some sunshine and warm weather. Hope everyone has a wonderful and Happy New Year! Wish you all peace and good health for the new year ahead.
  3. Do you know if we would need to pre-book the shuttle to BWI? Our flight isnโ€™t until noon. Thanks.
  4. We can only hope that they change it for the better and not make it any worse.
  5. These pictures look amazing. Thank you for posting them. Hope you are having a fantastic cruise and hope you had a wonderful holiday.
  6. I would like to add our "Happy Holiday Wishes" to everyone. We have a busy few days coming up. Today I'm finishing up the wrapping and the groceries. Tomorrow, we have a fun event planned (that we were just surprised with). Apparently during the summer, the company my son works for had a golf outing with a charity auction. He bid on the one of the prizes and won it. So, several family and friends are invited to attend a performance of Trans-Siberian Orchestra at Little Cesars Arena (where the Detroit Red Wings play). He won a suite, so we will all enjoy the show from a great vantage point. I'm really looking forward to it. On Sunday morning the kids will all come over for brunch and presents. Then on Monday we'll all head to my brother's house for a visit with extended family and dinner. May you all have a joyous season! Val & Doug
  7. @derorim Joy, your crochet project is wonderful. It's so cute. Your granddaughter is going to love it. @DaniDanielle What an amazing letter your granddaughter wrote. So beautiful!
  8. My first job in high school was the "Gift Wrap Girl" at our local department store for $1.25 per hour. ๐Ÿ˜„ Happiest of birthdays to Linda! So wonderful when we discover that we did good as parents. What a nice memory you shared.
  9. Heading to Baltimore in 2 weeks for the January 6 sailing. It's a 13 night Southern. This will be our 3 year in a row doing an itinerary out of Baltimore. The last 2 years were on Enchantment. Looking forward to sailing on Vision. (We sailed on Vision back in 2015). We also stay at Marriott on McHenry Row. It's a great location. Will definitely be following along on your review. Have a wonderful cruise!
  10. Wow, poor thing sure has been through a lot. So glad you came into her life. She is adorable and will make a great addition to your family.
  11. @A&L_Ont Looks like you guys could have a weather mess on your side of the river. Hopefully, the game will be cancelled. Sending good thoughts for your mom's consultation. Be Safe!
  12. Nice afternoon here as well. Went granddaughterโ€™s first dance recital. Sheโ€™s 4 years old. The kids were all adorable and did a great job.
  13. @dani negreanu I agree, the water does have a way of replenishing the soul. So glad you were able to take a break and enjoy some beach time. Be safeโค๏ธ
  14. We are going to Martinique for the first time in a few weeks. I understand that I can use my credit card, however I prefer to pay cash for small souvenirs. Will most of the vendors accept US dollars or do I need to get Euro's before we leave? Thank you.
