  1. Notjaded, not a fishing trip as such but when we visited Ketchikan as part of the Kobe to Vancouver cruise in 2019 my husband went on The Deadliest Catch crab tour. He had a wonderful time. The excursion was very well run and they were lucky enough to see lots of other marine life. Not being crabby, I went to a totem pole museum and it was fascinating. Will you be stopping at Prince Rupert?
  2. Techno, I well remember reading your very entertaining travelogue about your cruise with the mountain bike in 2016. Punctured in Piraeus was a great title for the thread and written by the lovely Chairsin who was a regular contributor on the Seabourn boards around that time.
  3. Frantic, I’m really enjoying reading your posts . You have a very nice and easy way of writing about your daily excursions and the accompanying photographs are sensational. Thank you. So looking forward to your next adventure on The Grand Voyage around South America.
  4. Hi Shark, The champagne in your picture is Montaudon and not the requested Veuve Clicquot. Be thankful that you didn’t get the dreaded Nicholas Feuillatte!🥂🍾 Really enjoy your postings.
  5. Catlover54 is correct in saying that the process of getting an Indian Visa for UK citizens has changed. We cannot get the e visa online but have to travel to a visa centre( there are only 3 or 4 in the whole of the Uk) for a face to face interview before being issued with a visa. We have been informed that all appointments are full until February at the earliest. I know all this as we were booked on the Singapore to Athens cruise too but we changed to a Panama Canal cruise later in the year to avoid needless hassle. Canada is also denied the e visa scheme for some reason
  6. Sorry Galeforce, This was our first ever’ Yachts of Seabourn’ cruise in 2011.
  7. Kjbacon, oh that is such a shame. We were really hoping that you would have a negative test result this morning. So disappointed for you both.
  8. Kjbacon, I hope your excursion in Jersey will take you to The War Tunnels( we used to call it the German Underground Hospital) in St Lawrence. We live in Jersey, my husband was born just after The Occupation and would be very happy to answer any questions that you might have. So very pleased that Seabourn is visiting Jersey!
  9. Hlitner is correct, Ryan was the ACD on the Ovation. He left the ship just after the transatlantic crossing to get married. He told us that his next ship was to be Seabourn Venture. We like Ryan, he will make an excellent Cruise Director.
