  1. We have been on several holiday cruises...the most recent being in 2016/17. I invite you to go to my webpage at BillinLodi.com and scroll down to the "2016/2017 Voyager Pristine Pacific Rim Cruise". You can click on the photos button for that cruise (which includes Christmas and New Years parties/shows.) Clicking on the log button for that cruise will get you to my blog.

  2. I booked a cabin under the pool deck only once. We had rough seas overnight and the water in the pool was sloshing so much, it was banging the side of the pool. It sounded like they were dropping girders on the deck. It took them several hours before they drained the pool. If you are not cruising in possible rough waters, you would only hear them setting up the lounge chairs in the early morning.

  3. Dear Valued Guest and Travel Partner,

In an abundance of caution and as a result of the uncertainty surrounding port entry and berthing availability in various destinations in Asia, we are canceling your upcoming voyage previously scheduled to depart March 1, 2020.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises will provide a full refund of your paid fare in addition to the previously communicated 25% Future Cruise Credit. Please advise our Reservations team or your Travel Advisor that there is a credit in your name when you reserve your next Regent voyage.

In order to ensure you have received this important communication and to begin processing your refund, kindly email Regent Seven Seas Cruises at RSSCresv@rssc.com with your booking number and the subject line “Message Received”.

We are closely monitoring the coronavirus situation in China and continue to update appropriate actions as necessary. Cruise ships in the region are subject to the scrutiny of local port officials who have sporadically closed ports to cruise ships or to guests of certain nationalities. The decision to cancel this voyage, while difficult, was made to ensure the safety, security and well-being of all our guests and crew, which is our number one priority.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we manage through this evolving situation. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience of canceling your voyage, and we hope to welcome you on board another Regent Seven Seas Cruises voyage in the near future.

    Sincerely,

    Regent Seven Seas Cruises

  5. We also had 3 general questions about an upcoming 2020 cruise and the Miami office said we had to go through our TA. Our TA called and was told "we have to contact the correct department and get back to you". Even after she called 3 times over 3 months, never a call back. We told our TA to give up and we would try to get the answers when we got aboard our current cruise.  So the day after boarding on the Mariner,  I went to the Cruise Consultant to ask him the same 3 questions. He had answers for us within 2 days. Too bad it had to take us 6 months and getting aboard a ship to get answers that Miami should have been able to answer. The Cruise Consultant apologized as he said that Miami should have known the answers and returned the calls to my TA.

  6. We are currently in 1003 on the Mariner. Your suite will be at the end of the hallway with a door that the officers use to get to their suites and the bridge. They are very quiet using the door.

We stayed in 1002 for our South America cruise this past January/February and had no problems with "feeling the waves".
We have seen inside 1001 and it is a very nice suite.
