  1. We have done the 10 day southern Carribean on Enchanted the last 2 years. Highly recommend it!
  2. Yes!!! Been saying since my first medallion app cruise that they need to put a PDF version of the Patter in the app. I just take a picture each morning and refer to it thru the day. I too have missed things due to time inconsistencies.
  3. I have found it to be mixed, with the room number being picked up from the medallion vs being asking for a room number. I have also found when ordering a soft drink or a bottled water at the busy pool bars, many times they dont even check or ask, they just hand it out and move on.
  4. We did this last year. It was a bit of a walk to the catamaran dock but I recall they had golf-cart type transpo available. Believe we had to step down into the boat though, so that might be a challenge, and not sure how the rollator would work on board. Once on board there was regular bench/chair seating available. You might want to call and ask specifically about this. We enjoyed the excursion.
  5. True, diet Sprite is the only caffeine-free diet soda available, and only in cans so not included in drink packages. Really wish they would add caffeine free diet Coke! When I can, I carry on a 12pk.
  6. Anyone wonder if some of the issues has to do with the number of users? With Princess 'encouraging' customers towards internet inclusive packges, I suspect at any given time there are many more individuals on the ship connected versus 3 or 4 years ago. Pre-covid we had never had internet on a cruise but once we tried it, now we wont cruise without it.
  7. I had a custom one made on my first medallion cruise. It did not peel and I still use it as a magnet. That said, personally its not something I will pay for again.
  8. I wonder why shorten the expiration. They will still be still refundable, right?
  9. Dirty Banana for sure. And last cruise I discovered a Key Lime Martini that was good. When I have a drink package I like trying new drinks at Good Spirits.
  10. Me too. And without the drink package I will pre-purchase more. I do think I have seen Crystal Geyser but really dont pay much attention to the brand.
  11. This is an improvement. Still, I wish they would just attach the Patter in the app somewhere as a pdf type doc. I will probably continue to just take a pic of the paper Patter every day on my phone , to look at. Sometimes you just want to see the info without having to scroll!
  12. Yeah, mine was recently faxed, and processed in under 24 hours.
  13. I do agree that Princess Plus makes more sense than the overpriced independent drink packages. Coffee package excluded, which of course is now not available. We now pay-as-we-go for alcohol, prepay for bottled water and carry-on soft drinks. I fully expect them to disallow the carry-on of soft drinks next.
  14. Following your review and sounds like a great trip. Love Enchanted and have sailed her twice in the Carribean. I hope to do a TA someday! I have to chuckle about your comment about motion sensor night lights. They have been installing these retroactively on some ships, and many (including myself) dislike them. You will find discussion threads about how to outsmart them (tape over them, put pillows in front of the ones at the bottom of the nightstands, etc). I do agree that they should have a separate light switch just for the closet area
  15. I am going with this being a legitimate question and the answer is 'maybe'. The official answer is probably 'no' but it will vary by ship. There's is a good chance you could get by first and last night, for other nights you will have to see. Not sure what other lines you have been sailing, but Princess is not (yet) like NCL with a pretty casual attitude for dining room attire. I will say I prefer NCL in that regard. On Princess my go-to is black pants and a nice top, my husband has been known to wear nice jeans but not shorts.
  16. Such a personal decision. With the newest price increases we are returning to pay as we go. I am Platinum so we get the discounted internet, pre-order water at $7/12pk, carry-on some soda. Would buy a coffee package, but apparently thats a thing of the past. Absolutely no interest in premium desserts, a juice bar, or a fitness class. I can buy a coffee and a drink or 2 a day and come out ahead. YMMV
  17. I understand your point but, respectfully, there are many, many fewer chairs in the Retreat Area than the pool area/sundeck. So its almost more annoying to see those chairs vacant (of a person) for a couple hours when one just wants to sit there in the semi-quiet away from the pool area. Particularly for Enchanted and Sky. I will usually dip in the pool to cool off, but back in my seat in 5 to 10 minutes.
  18. Never mind the extra expense.....it is virtually impossible to book the sanctuary on a warm weather cruise unless you were on the previous sailing (B2B), or among one of the first onboard. Therefore we are stuck with trying to find open loungers. Now I have never moved someone elses belongings but I have certainly been annoyed by it.
  19. Wait. They are SELLING cake at the International Cafe! The IC where all food items are (or maybe now used to be) included?
  20. I like the 'Light Drinker' concept. I want coffee, water, soft drinks, and a few alchohol drinks per day, along with grats. At a price point less than $60/day. I dont think we will ever see such a thing. They want to sell the expensive packages to us light drinkers to make up for those who really do order 15 drinks per day!
  21. I think that was a mistake on the part of the server (unless DH actually asked for a CAN of coke). We never specify 'fountain' coke or diet coke, but I assume they see our drink package and that's what we are served. The only time we got caught on the can issue was ordering a diet sprite, which is not available as a fountain drink, but we did not realize it at the time.
  22. I guess I dont understand this...I dont care if they know how much time I spend in my room or in the Piazza or at the pool. And technically, they track my food and drink and other charges whether I use my medallion or not as every charge is recorded to go against my on board account. I personally think its a touch of paranoia, but of course everyone can make their own decisions.
  23. We often do this for lunch...get a salad and then grilled or rotisserie chicken (whatever we can find that day) to put on top. Get a feel for the entire Horizon Court as sometimes we could find salad toppings we wanted in different areas. Also if you ask, you can get a small container for dressing on the side, but they are not readily available
  24. Personally I prefer Crown Grill. The filet mignon is my go-to and I have never been disappointed.
