  1. Hubby and I booked the Fantasy out of Mobile for next October ... we've never booked so far out, but got a great rate and only $50 deposit! Now we have recruited at least 3 other cabins to join us so it will be even more fun!

Can't wait to hear from those that sail before us how the upgrades work out... I'm a bit worried about the amount of space they will take up

We've sailed on her before... can't wait to go again!

The upgrades were made back in February of this year. The additions just replaced existing space.

    Dry Dock:*2/06/16-2/20/16*

Guy's Burger Joint (replaced Off the Grill)

Blue Iguana Cantina (replaced Mongolian Wok)

Redfrom Rum Bar (replaced pool bar)

Blue Iguana Tequila Bar (replaced pool bar)

Added Internet Cafe (computer terminals)*to the Promenade Deck

When can I book shore excursions?

Shore excursions may be booked online prior to sailing up until the Pre-Sail cut-off time,11:30pm ET the evening prior to the cruise departure. Shore excursions generally open for sale 6 to 18 months prior to the cruise. Cruise departures in 2018, will be open for sale some time between April and June 2017.

  3. If you'd like a nice, lower priced hotel, I can highly recommend the WakeUp Hotel Borgegade. The rooms are not fancy, but they are clean, comfortable and quiet. The lobby is large with some nice Scandanavian furniture. You can also purchase the breakfast buffet which is large, varied and delicious. The hotel is well-located and you can walk to all the city sites from there.

To get to the WakeUp Hotel Borgegade, take the M2 Metro from the airport to the Kongens Nytorv station. After exiting the station, it is an 8-minute walk to the hotel. We easily made this walk with our roller 21-inch bags.

For a one-day visit to Copenhagen, I highly recommend a walking tour. We did the 3-hour tour, Grand Tour Copenhagen, with Copenhagen Free Walking Tours. Our guide was fantastic and we learned so much about the history and culture of Denmark in addition to seeing the city sights. Just be sure to tip your guide generously at the end of your tour.

How easy is it to get to the cruise terminal from Wakeup Hotel?

  4. This is the FAQ for Cozumel Plus

    What is Cozumel Plus?

Cozumel Plus is a new program for Carnival Cruise Line in which port calls have been extended on more than 750 voyages, providing guests with even more opportunities to experience and explore this diverse vacation destination.

Many new excursions have been added as a result of the extended time in port, with

several of these on the Mexican mainland.

What new excursions have been added?

On “Cozumel Plus” itineraries, guests now

have access to unforgettable experiences like swimming with whale sharks (seasonal),

visiting centuries-old ruins and swimming in hidden caverns. These complement nearly

    50 existing tours already available.

How much longer are the ships in port?

On Cozumel Plus tours, ships stay at the

destination for up to nine hours in duration which allows for the creation of new tours

like visiting ancient Mayan ruins, including Chichen Itza – one of the Seven Wonders of

the World – and Tulum, to snorkeling the turquoise waters of Xel-Ha, a magnificent

group of lagoons connected by a series of bridges, and exploring underground caverns.

The additional time in port provides guests with additional time to check out Cozumel’s

white-sand beaches, excellent water sports, and shopping and dining experiences.

  5. I can't see how it can be anything other than a Mediterranean/East Med itinerary for March...It would be too cold to do Northern Europe imo. But, I am still interested to see which ports they choose. I did an Eastern this year and am doing a Western Med next year...if the majority of ports are repeats for me, I may just wait till she comes stateside, hopefully Florida.

    Any other guesses?

I'm guessing her final homeport will be either Galveston or NYC. Doubt they would but both Vista class ships in Florida.
