NCL gives double points if you book 9 months in advance.
A few years ago Carnival did give a break for solos charging only 150% for the 1A solos. Have only ever had solo points allocated though.
We were told the other day (onboard the Vista) that a SPECIAL TEAM is looking into the Loyalty programme but still no news.
NCL giving double points isn't based on booking a cruise as a solo.
Over a year ago John Heald said Carnival was going to do something for solo cruises..still waiting ....

No, you don't have to pack. You will get a letter detailing the procedure.

Completed during dry dock: 3/06/16-3/20/16
Routine hotel maintenance
Cosmetic enhancements such as new carpeting and tile work in lounges and public areas
Addition of 6 new Scenic Ocean View staterooms and 2 Captain's Suites on Deck 9 forward

Seems as if carnival is missing out on a marketing chance. Wonder what the policy is on princess or ncl.
Princess gives double points, NCL does not.
-
Thanks to the double points, I will be Diamond with Royal after my 12 night cruise next year.
-
It does seem odd..require solos to pay double deposit, but only reward single points.
Doubtful it will ever change, because as long as they are filling ships, it's not a big deal to them

IMHO you should make up your own mind on whether or not you like the hull art. The thoughts and/or opinions of others here should not determine what you like or don't like.
Not Alaskan based...Seattle based.
I can't help but notice the "mother" whale balancing the "baby" whale on her nose. I'm no marine biologist, but that doesn't seem like a behavior one is likely to see when observing whales in the wild.
It symbolizes the first breath, which the mother has to help the newborn take. Something every marine biologist would clearly identify as being normal.

I think everyone should experience New Orleans. So if you have never been there, that would be my suggestion.
-
I book some online myself or with a TA that's open 24/7 365 and I can speak with anyone that answers the phone to handle my booking. Just depends on the perks they are offering.

May I ask who gets access to this priority lounge?
https://help.goccl.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/1380/~/priority-check-in-program
Carnival’s Priority Check-In is an exclusive service designed to afford our Platinum and Diamond guests and those traveling in deluxe suite accommodations with special check-in privileges. Cruise documents are stamped, PRIORITY and state, “If you have priority check-in (listed on your documents), please proceed to the Priority Lounge.”

Please Note: Both adults and children are encouraged to bring costumes and join in the fun. We do not allow any toy or imitation weapons of any kind on board nor do we allow guests to wear masks or bring real pumpkins

They can e-mail casino@carnival.com
If any casino cash waiting on them, they can find out before boarding.

Someone posted these on another forum

Oh I totally misread the post lol

Really depends on the Captain. When we sailed during daylight saving time, we didn't adjust our time until after we had our first sea day after leaving all the ports, since none observed DST.
If we had changed the time, we would have been in one port at 6am.

I certainly hope you're right. We are going on the inaugural Mobile cruise on November 9 and had heard that Fantasy would not have the new internet package in time for our cruise.
Yes, Fantasy has Hub

It may have changed but I was told if you price match to another offer you forfeit your casino benefits. Be sure you speak with a trusted source before you price match.
I've always been able to keep my casino benefits and remain early saver. But the last offer was just the lower price without any casino cash, not sure what the OP is getting, other than the lower rate.

More holiday details for each ship
https://help.goccl.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3510
The Spirit of the Season Atrium Moments*is made up of two magical evenings (three on select ships) filled with holiday fun:
Spirit of the Season – Tree Lighting
Tis the season for traditions, loved ones and fun-filled celebrations. Gather your friends and family for our traditional holiday kick off, the lighting of the Christmas tree in the atrium lobby.
This event takes place on the first evening of the cruise on the following ships: Carnival Breeze, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, Carnival Ecstasy, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Glory, Carnival Legend, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Magic, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Splendor, Carnival Victory and Carnival Vista. Hosted by the Cruise Director, a magical moment where the grand Christmas tree will be lit with spectacular lights and synchronized with wonderful, heartwarming holiday music.
What are you wishing for? A football? A pony? More fun vacations? Now's the time to let Santa know! Write out a special message for Santa and drop it in the North Pole mailbox located in the atrium lobby (on all ships) .. and some letters will be read on our live Morning Show.
Spirit of the Season – Let it Snow!
Celebrate the magic of the season with our very own Christmas Carol-infused winter wonderland. Sing-a-long to holiday classics and let it snow. Be on time, the snow melts fast! Due to the atrium décor, the event will take place without snow on the Carnival Breeze, Carnival Sunshine and Carnival Vista.
Spirit of the Season – ‘Tis the Season
Put on your most festive ugly sweater, warm up those vocal chords and gather around to help us welcome the very jolly Santa Claus himself!
Hosted by the Cruise Director and together with the children from Camp Carnival and Camp Ocean, we celebrate the spirit of the holiday season as we combine holiday magic with a little Carnival fun! Guests of all ages are encouraged to bring their ugliest Christmas sweater for this fun competition. And then it’s time to shake your bells and make cheerful noise to welcome in Santa Claus as he makes his way down the glass atrium elevator.
On the Carnival Legend and Carnival Spirit, there will be a crazy, festive holiday hat competion instead of the ugly sweater contest.

That's such a good feeling.
I shake my head at people who say they can't be bothered to check pricing daily or even weekly.
-
The 24 hour hold still shows up on some itineraries.
-
You can make the reservation right on your "Cruise Manager" it's at the bottom right
