  1. Chemmo, thank you for the clarification. Much appreciated.
  2. So you pay for the drinks that are brought to the suite?
  3. I understand your frustration and we all wish this was just a bad memory, but for many it just is not. There are those that cannot protect themselves and have to hope that the community around them will step up. I, for one, am immunocompromised. I just left Mayo Clinic for treatment and have to hope that the world around me will help me to make it to another day. I am looking forward to my cruise in the fall and enjoying everyday planning and taking it. Thank you in advance for looking out for me and others like me.
  4. They also take your drink orders, bring you coffee or Cappuccino and refresh you Ice 2x a day. I was under the impression that you could not have drinks brought to your suite other than the 2 bottles of any type of liquor in the upper level suite and the complimentary sparkling wine / champagne upon boarding. Please clarify. Thanks!
  5. Hi Jamie! I am so enjoying your review—daily life, food, drinks, encounters, clothing and everything else that crosses your wake. I am back in Mayo Clinic again and would much rather have that Grand Mimosa than the Grand Chemo cocktail I am currently getting today. Anyway, for a short time I am sailing the high seas with you—so a big thank you! I hope to be on board this fall and saying yes to everything!
  6. If both excursions are booked through Celebrity and you missed the 2nd b/c of a problem with the 1st returning on time then I don't see how they cannot refund you your money.
  7. I am very sorry that this was your experience when you were hoping for so much better. You mention that you wore your mask "only when required", so we can assume that it was off more than on? I am not trying to be sarcastic, I am only looking for more clarification. I know that tone doesn't come across on posting so please don't take this in any other form than just trying to get information. Also, even though a person may test negative, as you said regarding the passengers boarding on the 1st day, there may still be some (or many) who are actually positive but the viral load is not strong enough to come through at that moment when the testing is performed. The virus may also be incubating and come forth later on. It is a difficult time for all.
  8. I am very sorry that this wasn't the cruise you had hoped for but glad that you made the best of it and still enjoyed the trip. I just have a few questions for clarification: 1. what type of stateroom were you in? 2. where exactly were the onion rings? I just love onion rings and don't want to miss finding them when I am on the Equinox in the fall. 3. did you test Covid positive at the end of the cruise when you disembarked or on the ship?
  9. Thanks for the answer to the 1st stipulation regarding CC member, but what about the 2nd? If you are staying in an upper level suite with unlimited specialty dining, is the gelato also free and unlimited?
  10. Just to clarify, free and unlimited gelato if you meet the following? 1. You are Elite, or higher, CC member and/or, 2. You are in a RS/PH/Iconic Suite with unlimited specialty dining
  11. I, too, will be a B2B 1st timer and have a question. On the day of turnaround, can you order room service for lunch to avoid the crush at the limited dining venues?
  12. I thought that it was just 1 scoop of free gelato? Is it unlimited for the RS?
