  1. That is very good logic and would apply to T/As I think where the spread could be better tracked perhaps. Though they would never do it. Apparently the NCL Star and Epic used to do T/A in convoy. A good idea to test that method might be one ship no test and 1 ship all tests/daily tests though they would never do it.
  2. From that do you think it is a reasonable to assume that other lines will drop the testing requirements in other countries.
  3. They don't sail out of USA though so far as I am aware.
  4. Because no one reports them to the reception or staff members. You only end up in jail if you are stupid enough to go to the medical centre.
  5. The man's got a point to be fair. But cunard do need to get into the online contact chatting game I think. Would make things a lot easier for some people. I would rather be the 25th person in the online queue than be on hold for 45 minutes on the phone.
  6. Yes I am frustrated that they don't have a contact me or online chat function where you can chat with a customer service agent online.
  7. Because they are not reporting the cases or doing any testing or tracing at least not on NCL. On the final day of my Alaska cruise last month the cruise director wasn't working his team was doing the quiz and whatever but he wasn't. I asked at the desk and they said he was in quarantine yet they weren't.
  8. The test requirement to enter the U.S ends today (Sunday). Not sure about whether the cruise lines will end the requirement I think they will still want the test 2 days beforehand. When do you cruise?
  9. We didn't have to test on the NCL Bliss to get off the ship in Seattle last month at the end of our cruise.
  10. Your friday test should probably be ok to board Sunday.
  11. Those requirements are likely to be scrapped now I think at some point in the near future. Especially on the T/As as neither side requires them now and refunds and that sort of thing will go away.
  12. Yeah that refund won't last forever which does mean more and more people are less likely to go the medical centre as they won't get any FCC or refund it will just be hard luck to them.
  13. Isn't the thing to drop the 5 or 10 day quarantine onboard nevermind the testing?
  14. They will never stop pre cruise testing. They probably should perhaps but they never will people can't be trusted not to lie.
  15. According to article in NY Post Biden has ended it or will end it very very soon like within a couple of days. Cunard and others probably won't be far behind perhaps.
  16. Who would police the elevators and won't all parts of Royal ships be crowded when back to full numbers?
  17. They don't seem to be the case on the current QM2 crossing whic is being blogged about.
  18. It takes an hour or so to get approved. When are you going on your cruise?
  19. You completed the forms after you booked the cruise or trip? I always do my new ESTA before I book any American travel. My current one expires July 23 I have no U.S travel booked after that.
  20. I have put in unknown in the past. I think you can put down the cruise terminal address in Alaska perhaps?
  21. Strange that you had to tender. The NCL Bliss pulled into Sitka. Was there more than 1 ship in port?
  22. Did they have the swan shaped cakes they used to have.
  23. If the testing requirement is still in place in December I would test in Seattle first before leaving America for UK even though test is not required and only travel if that test is negative and test straight away upon landing at heathrow if I could. A company called Randox has 2 testing centres - at least it does right now - very close to heathrow if not inside heathrow.
