Why are they not happy…too general to just say menus and ship

Specifics please…

We live in Arizona, so we understand that “hot” is a relative term for those of us that are used to it…

We have heard that summer cruises can be very hot and muggy…June thru August is our travel time, so wondering how bad it will be?

Currently trying to decide whether to book the Crown to Alaska in 2024 and would love some help! The last time we were on her (right before Covid shut down) she was looking very worn and tired with lumpy beds! Has she seen any updates since then or is she still dumpy? I know the crew will be great, but hoping to get some refirb since we last travelled on her…thx so much for any info!

We got both segments of shareholder benefits, but they wouldn’t restock the mini-bar. Seems each ship makes up their own rules…good luck trying to get it elevated…we just got rather indignant responses from ship staff and made to feel like we didn’t know what we were talking about…what happens and what is supposed to happen doesn’t necessarily mesh when you actually get on the ship. They have so many new people making decisions that aren’t familiar with rules or policy, so be prepared for anything. Who knows, maybe you’ll get double mini-bar restocking both times!

Collared shirt (no tie) dress slacks and loafers…pretty much in the middle of the range of clothing

Last week I tried to upgrade my September AA flights that have been ticketed using miles and was told a hard “no…that is not possible anymore”. I elevated my request up the chain to supervisor and one more level up. They were very nice and tried working my miles several different ways, but said by purchasing the base fare there was no work around now. This is definitely a change as we have done this several times in the past!

I’m elite and a stock holder…I’m also done with Princess! They are small changes, but they continue to add up…it’s now the straw that broke the camel’s back…too many changes too quickly with NO REMORSE…good bye stock and Princess-sorry to go but enough is enough!

If I use my medallion on Ocean Ready to do the lifeboat drill check-in (as was required) on our last cruise, will I be charged $15?

You gotta love it when a lot of the posts turn into dress code debates…it’s great entertainment—open up a bottle of wine and just sit back, the show will start in 3-2-1….

If you have nice jeans (most of mine cost more than a tux or a formal), you certainly will look better than some of the 70-80 crowd that takes their formal wear out of mothballs for each cruise….please don’t let the naysayers determine what you wear - it is your cruise, not theirs!

Princess is moving away from catering to their older demographic, but unfortunately they have forgotten to also move their outdated dress code language😂

Just had our October cruise ticketed….on the website pull up your booking, click on flights, click on “view/change flights. You will see “request ticketing” ..click on that…it should give you ticket numbers after midnight when the system reboots

Absolutely nothing extra…except crew who haven’t figured out the ship yet…don’t ask for anything extra like hangers in the closet (those evidently weren’t scheduled to arrive until cruise #3😂). On a more positive note, the ship will be shiny and new and the beds will be great!

In the past all of our Princess booked pre and post cruise hotels have included transfers from airport to hotel and then to ship for pre cruise…post cruise is transfer to hotel from ship and then to airport…however, they change things at the drop of a hat, so it’s to your benefit to check it out!

On our last cruise our luggage wasn’t delivered until after 8 pm. On this next cruise we will have been traveling for over 24 hours, and I want to board, unpack, and go right to bed as we have a 7 am excursion the next morning. Is it possible to use the Princess transfer from Rome to Civitavecchia and then retrieve your luggage to carry all of it on?

I’m sure there are many tour companies that are very good, but we took an Overlord tour and found it to be absolutely exceptional! Very professional, easy to reserve, and reasonable pricing.

We were rather surprised on our Christmas/New Year cruise to Hawaii this last year…nothing special on board and very informal on formal nights (actually happy it wasn’t stiff and stuffy wardrobe), but thought there would be something to recognize those 2 holidays.

Can you bid on a specific location or deck or is it just to a higher category…often what Princess calls an upgrade would be a downgrade to me

If you have Princess bookmarked, you may need to update your browser or refresh your bookmark…I was having problems last month and that solved the problem. I can now see specific rooms when I pull it up…good luck🍀!

I have been buying my half-priced elite internet via the medallion app before boarding the ship and there have been no problems in the past. On my upcoming cruise I have so much OBC that I won’t be able to use … so I am wondering if I can wait to buy internet on board and still get the Elite discount… anyone have first-hand experience doing this? I know “in theory” it works that way, but lots of things on Princess are inconsistent.

Interesting to note that so many threads turn into tipping or dress code debates..hmmmm😂
