    I took this photo this morning of my late parents memory garden in our garden. We brought the hydrangeas from their garden after my late dad died 12 years ago. They are just starting to bloom.

    Good morning. Thank you for today's daily reports. It is 59°F with rain due shortly. 3 interesting days and true quote. Today is Pauline's late brothers 66th birthday who died as a 3 month old baby. We are at the cemetery now putting flowers on the grave. I hope everyone is safe and well.

    Thank you Julie. I'm delighted to hear you had a fantastic cruise on Aurora. We had 6 previous cruises on Iona with 2 more booked and loved Iona but liked 6th Street diner on Arvia for breakfast Steak and eggs and a hot dog on an afternoon and listening to the 50s-60s music.

    Good morning. It is quiet here. I hope everyone is well. Currently it is sunny and 12°C here.

    I always take 2 readings. The nurse at the doctor's sometimes takes 3 readings. I am always at least 10 minutes early and the appointments are often running late then the nurse says sit down and puts the BP monitor straight on my arm so no wonder the first reading is higher than what I do at home.

    Thank you Avril. Sorry to hear about your mam's strokes. I bought my arm monitor in 2015 and still use it. Pauline's late mam's wrist monitor kept giving low readings when I used it. Thank you for the information though as the wrist monitor is much easier to use.

    Check with the pharmacist at your local pharmacy. There are different sized arm bands and maybe the one you used previously was too small. The wrist bands are cheaper and much easier to use but are not as accurate when I used one.

    I have just read that thread but as I have never sailed on HAL I didn't feel I could comment. It is sad how the op responded to his cruise when a little pre-cruise knowledge would have been very helpful for his family. I heard the hurricane might come near to Texas so please Take Care Lenda. Wishing you and all of my American friends a Happy Independence day.

    Thank you Kalos. Sarah is 43 and twice married and a very pretty girl. She does the same job as Pauline and they speak to each other several times a day. Sadly she had unloving parents.
