  1. There are no shortage of butt holes on any forum, but if you can, picture them naked in the atrium, with laryngitis and no identification. Then, post away! 😉
  2. Oh, I am thinking of someone who said they had done it already. But let us know should you do it!
  3. So glad you responded! Just for my edification, when you use points for a cruise, do you get to choose your cabin or are you restricted to certain categories. Thanks!
  4. Ok, I got it now. Obviously low on caffeine earlier but now eyeing the wine cooler, so I’d best answer before the siren’s song gets me. as others have said, I do not think your scenario of pay for IN, go to OV with points and pay for BAL upgrade is allowed. If your heart is set ona balcony, buy the lowest OV that will allow you to go to a low level balcony. Those categories will vary by the ship so you need to callWP and ask what OV. Category will get you to a balcony FAS varies between the categories And as someone said earlier, if you book an IN and upgrade with points, you will only get the perks for your booking category.
  5. Seems to me it was on our documents for our May sailing, but not on our February cruise. We ignored it and dropped our bags in our cabin and left.
  6. Back in our skiing days (aka, when we still had functional knees) our favorite drink at Keystone was a “snuggler”. Hot chocolate, white rum, white crème de cacao and a splash of peppermint schnapps. Went down easy and certainly warmed all those frozen parts.
  7. If I understood you, you said you had 60,00O expiring. If you do not do a double meta (inside to balcony you will lose 30,000 points. Unless you are planning to do a statement credit or OBC with the other 30,000. Or did I misunderstand the situation?
  8. We always attend the veterans gatherings, and I’ve got to say Carnival does them better than any other line we sail. Looking forward to seeing how they can make it even better.
  9. We have had some of these items on the Dream. Nice to have some new additions. So glad bitter and Blanc continues, it is my favorite desert, but it is usually available only one night. I do hope the service improves, though. It was painfully slow on our last two sailings.
  10. I haven’t looked at the spa offerings lately but usually 90 days or so out you can prebook some services. Pass for sure at a discount, don’t recall about massages, etc. I find the prices exorbitant, even before they add the mandatory tip. We used to always get massages onboard but they have priced themselves out of my budget. we do, however, enjoy the thermal suite and try to book a spa room when possible.
  11. I think this is completely understandable. It is a big change from pre-covid and I don’t think anyone would think there was a new procedure for the gifts, etc. if you don’t spend a fair amount of time on CC you would probably not know and I do not think CCL went out of their way to advertise this. And considering all the cutbacks post covid, it’s quite understandable to assume these were additional cutbacks,
  12. Well, I don’t think it’s actually an ad, but it looks like one. Can’t remember haven’t paid attention to what it says recently, that’s just where I click for info. But that’s not often because I just call the WP desk when I want to upgrade. I prefer talking to a person.
  13. Thank you so much for the suggestions. I have been looking at Viva, as well. We have always done our own arrangements, I’ve not been one to give up that much control.
  14. Go to the BOA website. Log into your account. Click on the REWARDS tab. On the far right hand side of the page will be an ad usually with a tropical scene or cruise ship in it (it varies) and says NCL. Click on that. It gives you options for ways to redeem, cash, upgrades, cruises, and there may be another choice, but it’s very usable from there out.
  15. Yep. And then there are those people who just love being the center of attention. There was a couple we used to see on RCCL who wore different fluffy slippers every day, and a young lady who seemed to think wearing evening wear made of little more than dental floss was glamorous. At least they didn’t annoy anyone (except maybe some wives, whose husbands eyes had popped from their sockets ) but I suppose that’s what makes the world go round., but so,e times ya just got to wonder why it doesn’t spin wildly out into space. 🤗
  16. Someone on these boards posted last week they had an item returned but it took about three weeks.
  17. Our neighbors are almost pinacle level and complain about several (they know these folks by name because they are so obnoxious) pinnacles who behave in quite obnoxious “I own this ship” sort of fashion. As a matter of fact, when we were in Roatan recently on an NCL cruise, I saw this couple who caught my eye because of their outfits and persona and then noticed the name tag. I discreetly took a picture of then to show our friends and they said “yep, that’s them”. I’ve not seen any ambassadors acting in an inappropriate manner, most are just very congenial and helpful.
  18. Aliely, I hope this works out for you. Best wishes.
  19. A one level meta upgrade will take 30,00 points. Maximum category you can upgrade to is BA.
  20. That’s all that matters. If you use the card for just you NCL purposes you may accumulate enough points at triple value, to get OBC each cruise. Much as having that little $100 shareholder OBC. But you may well have another card that provides you more. So long as you are happy, life is good!
  21. FWIW, I don’t recall having to choose between points and OBC, I recall the points winding up in my account but I knew from the promo that they could be used for ONC, which the advertisement usually tours.
