I have been a windows user all of my computer years. I don't think I would like the challenge of learning mac at this point. I went with a HP that has Intel XeGraphics card with 4K UHD and an Intel core i5, windows 11, microsoft 365. I synched it with my phone, not sure if I like that feature yet. I have some setting adjustments I need to make such as the keyboard is very sensitive. Best of all I bought I new purple and white mouse on amazon to arrive tomorrow.😁

I watched BD last night and totally agree with you. These guests are so obnoxious and rude. Although I will say, that beach was horrible!!. It was more like a park where locals went to party or walk dogs. Definitely not somewhere I would expect to visit on a super yacht. No idea why they went there when there are so many other beautiful beaches in St. Lucia.

Gorgeous Kitchen. I see why you would miss it! 2009 was a much different world than nowadays with contractors and just about anything needed having delays in delivery. I had contractor estimates and design ideas done end of 2019 and was ready to get it done early 2020 but then we all know what happened. I keep hesitating to get started on it due to all the problems I keep hearing from others. I guess I would have to do it in the spring/summer or early fall so I could cook on the grill as much as possible. Someday soon!!!

We sailed Anthem in December and had no problem with parking at the garage with only 1 ship sailing. In September on Oasis that was different, they were sending everyone that was handicapped to the open air lot. Makes sense garage can only hold so many cars. Not a biggy. We love Anthem and will be back on end of March as a wedding gift for our Son and his new Wife. Did you go to Vintages bar? The trio (Aladdin, Joey and Indy) are awesome bartenders.

Meatloaf sounds good. I hear ya, I would want to keep nice shiny new look forever but at the same time I would enjoy giving it a whirl. I cannot wait to redo my kitchen and get a new stove and cooktop. You were very fortunate to have the extra kitchen in your lower level. My fear is it would take forever and we would spend a fortunate on take out / eating out while kitchen remodel would take place. Don't want to dip in my vacation / cruise budgets 😁 I am playing with my new toy this morning. I bought myself a new HP laptop with some of my Christmas / year-end bonus from work and it arrived at Bestbuy last night for pickup. Still in process of setting up but so far I like it. Will probably take a bit to get used to the feel of the new keyboard. My next new toy to arrive later today is a new Calphalon Premier pot and pan set.

I 2nd that. We love deck 6, secret door and convenient to walk up or down to decks 3, 4 or 5. When they say 50% obstruction it could simply be unable to look straight down to water due to life boats. There are some nice obstructed cabins on deck 6 that we have been happy with on Anthem sailings.

Sorry to hear you were disappointed on your Anthem sailing. We were on Anthem Dec 4th sailing and had a wonderful cruise with great service and plenty of good food and drink. It was our 4th sailing on Anthem in 2022 and always nice when crew remember your names and drinks too!

A dozen eggs here in PA starts around $5 for white eggs up to $9 for brown cage free, etc etc eggs.

Do you mostly go to WJ for dinner? Your posts sounds like you are at a fast food restaurant. Our experience has been different. They still serve prime rib, beef tenderloin, lobster. Tuna steak to name a few of our favorites in MDR. Kummelweck sandwich for lunch has been delicious on all my sailings this year. And lots of delicious deserts in MDR too!

The spa will always try to upsell on any treatment. They will also recommend products for you to buy. Over the years there are some elemis products that I really like and use on a regular basis at home. Prices onboard are similar to prices on elemis.com but I usually find cheaper on other websites.

I have scheduled this treatment for several cruises over the years and he always enjoys. Includes a nice facial, straight edge shave with mini upper body massage and minor hair trim, if needed. Price varies from $85 to $125 depending on ship, day/time of appt.

We have had several wonderful cruises in 2022. Last one on Anthem in December, no food issues, no complaints, crew did a great job!

Yup, the crew housing and other facilities has really grown in the last couple of years. You get a great view of their area if you go to the tallest water slide or the balloon ride. I'm excited to see what the new adult only area they have under construction will be like and whether there will be a charge. Scheduled to be done by end of 2023.

We have used wash n fold for b2b or longer cruises. No particular day, just ask your room steward for the bag. I bring a roll of scotch tape and fill the bag to the top then tape it instead of tying. Get more in bag this way. We have never had a problem with them using hot water. Just try to keep your bag with similar colors, no whites unless it's men's underwear and you don't care what color they come back as. Clothes have always come back the next day, rare to get back same day. I hand wash with woolite bathing suits, bras, blouses or quick dry tops.

Remember to put your phone on airplane mode. You don't want to get charged roaming fees for the length of your cruise. I do this before I sign in to their voom If you get stuck trying to login there is a voom desk and usually have a couple of people in that area that can help you.
