  1. @Sea DogWOW! Everything is so beautiful. Great job on the video. I'm exhausted just thinking of the hours and hours spent on decorating. Enjoy sitting back and relaxing with a cocktail. Cheers😀
  2. Surf only is usually $18 to $21 per day. Stream is usually $23 to $26.99
  3. I cut back on some fatty foods like pork roll, scrapple and bacon. I try to make only twice a week now previously I was making a full breakfast with one side of meat almost every day. So that also reduced amount of eggs per week. We always eat a lot of fish in the summer so I am continuing with fish on the menu at least twice a week during the fall/winter. I used to put butter on my toast, now I use Land O'Lakes Fresh Buttery Taste spread on breads and sometimes bagels instead of cream cheese. Cut back on my ice cream snacks and cheese snacks. And I have been using the air fry option a lot more with my cuisinart counter top oven. And I started taking a daily fish oil capsule with 360 mg of Omega 3 (not really sure if that helps cholesterol - but figured couldn't hurt). I was thrilled that I was able to squeeze in an appt at 7:15 am on Tuesday as the lab did not have anything available next week and we cruise on 12.04
  4. I hate when they are vague and want repeat on labs. Hopefully all is fine. I go for my annual physical and mammogram the beginning of January. It is crazy how far out you have to book appointments for some things.
  5. +1 Definitely do Not like the WJ on Oasis or Allure. Liked the sun garden off the solarium on Oasis. Do not like the DL on Oasis. I feel like I am in a basement with no windows. But we will sail on almost any ship, as you said, we love to cruise.
  6. Sorry to hear you have covid. Hopefully your symptoms remain mild. It is impossible to know if you picked up covid on the ship, at a port or on embarkment day. But I suspect with all the travelers this Thanksgiving we will see a lot more positive cases and hopefully they will all be mild. I had covid in October and still dealing with a lingering cough. Sorry you won't be able to be with family for Thanksgiving since you need to quarantine for a minimum of 5 days to prevent the spread. Hope you feel better soon.
  7. Ginny looks like a pistol*. God Bless her and Happy 99th Birthday. I wish her the best Happy Thanksgiving to All! For anyone wondering:
  8. I am happy to say I received my blood results today and my cholesterol numbers have improved by 20 to 30 points for various categories. The Doc said last fall I was borderline of needing a statin with my numbers so she should be pleased to see my improvement with no meds. If she tests me after the holidays and a cruise - forget it!!!
  9. Thank you. Yes, weather should be half-way decent. Looks like we may get some periods of rain but other than Eric pressure washing the patio decks and putting away some of the patio furniture all the other cleaning is indoors. 😶 We want to leave a couple chairs on the front patio incase the renters want to sit outside should we get a warm day or two this winter. We have the steam mop, pressure washer and carpet shampooer in his trunk. Just need to pack our small luggage bags tomorrow. I hope you and your Family have a Blessed Thanksgiving too! I hope everyone on Dani's thread has a Blessed Thanksgiving💕
  10. We did a Mayan Ruins tour several years ago. I found it informative and interesting to learn about their lifestyle and we saw some Mayan's working in a field and restoring a building while on the tour. Now, you are going to ask which one we did......It was in Cozumel and that is all I can remember right now. If you have never done one, I would give it a go at least once.
  11. Sorry to hear they have covid. Hopefully all remain mild and others do not contract covid. I hope you and Hubby find a nice way to spend Thanksgiving day with each other. Maybe call it loungewear day and snuggle on the sofa and watch some holiday movies.🥰
  12. We are going to my Brother's home. I am bringing stuffing, wine and deserts. His wife is cooking butternut squash soup, turkey, mashed sweet potatoes and my Brother is baking his favorite pecan pie.
  13. You can order toast, muffins, donuts, danish, coffee, tea, (not sure about juice) cereal with no room service charge, but tips are greatly appreciated. If you want any hot foods such as eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, etc. then you will pay the room service charge of $7.95 and we still give the server a cash tip.
  14. Be careful you don't want to hit cancel too many times then end up with no internet pkg. and have to pay the onboard price. It is usually 2 or 3 days before a cruise that items on the planner will no longer be available to buy or cancel. Worst case, if you board and have 2 packages the person at the Voom desk can cancel/refund you on one of the packages. May come back as OBC while onboard.
  15. I liked getting their truffle fries with my omelet for breakfast (with their brunch menu) as I don't care for hash brown patties. I don't remember it closing at 12:30 - that seems too early.
  16. Tonight I will make my Nana's recipe for stuffing and some pumpkin cheesecake bars (new receipe - hope it works out).
  17. Safe Travels. Happy to hear your Son is feeling better and you and hubby are good to go too! Have a Great cruise and Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy that Aft Balcony too!
  18. Thank you. And Happy Thanksgiving to you, Toby and your family. I hope you have a wonderful time with your family.😃
