Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. I can only speak for us. The dining opening hours totally matching our needs. We do not miss anything on sea days. Of course, if we have an excursion on port day’s, it’s nice to have something to eat when coming back, which is offered! The only thing which could be improved in our opinion would be to add a daily dinner special in Fil Rouge. We like the atmosphere and the ambiance the most out of all restaurants and the Menu could be boring on longer cruises. On Regent there is a big variety in Compass Rose each day.
  2. If you have a huge problem, when nothing is to eat between 2pm and the evening, than it has nothing to to with Explora Journey. On Explora there are still offering snacks in the Cafe Crema, delicious sandwiches for high tea or many options via room service. Actually you also need to complain, that there is nothing to eat after 10am till lunch. We are right now enjoying a wonderful cruise on Explora I. There is absolutely nothing to complain. We don’t miss the variety of dressings as we also do not have at home. We prefer to have two to three delicious dressings instead having six mediocre. ..,and we do not miss water, which is flying around the world from Italy. We really appreciate the drinking water concept, which is offered on the ship and it taste delicious on our tongues
.
  3. Thank you Celebrity headoffice! Great job. Now I'm finally done with Celebrity. I will definitely NOT re-book. It is always an amazing experience onboard the ships. But everything else, often annoying booking process, bad customer service, the changing quality of the shore side concierge, to the disastrous decisions made in the head office are simply no longer acceptable to me. Thank goodness there are still enough cruises lines that can do this much better.
  4. Thank you! No question at all, we still have a wonderful cruise 👍
  5. As you can see, other posters made the experience already a few year’s ago, what we didn’t until now
  6. Of course, you can survive without a butler. But if you pay for an adventure where it was included then you can definitely expect the service to be provided. We are just now on the Beyond in a CS. I was shocked to learn from the butler that we are provided with water daily, but if we take a Coke, beer or another water from the minibar we would be charged!! With the included premium drink package we can have almost everything in every bar and restaurant. But a Coke from the minibar will be charged. This is unbelievable! Furthermore, on our sea day it was almost impossible to get two loungers. Finally, there were just two left. At noon! We have just one more Celebrity Cruise on our list among of a total of 7 booked future cruises. We very much hope we still have access to Luminea for dinner without paying an upcharge being only in a RS at that time. After the recent changes, I can imagine everything
Sorry Celebrity, you want to be different but not with us in that way

  7. Hi Bill, Please find attached our review for a Seven Seas Suite on Splendor. Thank you very much!!!CC Rating Template.xls
  8. I just did a research. You can find it online, I assume I’m not allowed to publish pictures from online research
  9. Yes, of course. TV will be activated via remote control. It comes up from the side board in front of the window. So you could have everything under control from your bed đŸ˜‚đŸ€© We haven’t done a picture. But I will do a search.
  10. Here is our final review
. As already mentioned, we felt very well in the Seven Seas Suite. It is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. As in any other forward or aft cabin, of course you feel the motion more than midship. It was windy and rough on the first two days, but still okay for us. So we couldn’t use the veranda often. At that same time the upper pool deck was also closed due to the strong winds. After that, we used the veranda more often for a drink, canapĂ©s and to have privacy when the pool deck has been crowded. Of course you have to take in mind that it is more windy in front of the ship. We have already booked the Seven Seas Suite again for one of our upcoming cruises. We are happy to have done so. And yes, we had to close the curtains in the evening. But this wasn’t a problem for us at all. You can’t see anything at night and in the morning you can open it via remote control from your bed to enjoy the view again!
  11. We are also currently on the „Lemon Duo Cruise“ on Splendor in the Southern Caribbean. We also enjoy listening to both of them every evening in the Splendor Lounge with their wide range of songs.
  12. We are right now in a Seven Seas Suite on Splendor. It’s just our second day, but we really like the suite. The decor and the size of the suite is perfect and very comfortable. Our highlight is the bathroom with daylight, the view, the beautiful marble and rain shower. The balcony is great, very nice views forward and around. Indeed, it’s windy today, but on the pool deck it’s windy as well. So, let’s see how it will be in the next days.. Our butler did let us know, that the bridge could request to close the forward curtains in the evening. But this isn’t an issue at all for us. You can’t see anything anyway. He did not mention anything about the curtains to the balcony. So far there isn’t any motion problem. We can get back to you for an update at the end of the cruise. For now, we would definitely book the suite again
