  1. @TheOldBear Thank you so much for all of your answers. Embarkation port is Southampton. Our first cruise is a 4 day. It is our very first Cunard cruise. The second one is a 12 day out of Southampton to Norway and the Arctic circle. @ExArkieThank you as well.
  2. It is 2 separate bookings. With luck enough to find the same cabin for both bookings.']
  3. We are doing a back to back on the new Queen Anne October 2024. I have a few questions about how this is done. We have the same cabin for both cruises, Questions: Can we order room service breakfast on the turn around day? Is there usually a luncheon for the back to back cruisers? Do we walk off ship in a group and then come back on with our new cards? Would launderettes be open on turn around day? Do we get another bottle of "champagne" ? Thanks for any help!
  4. @maggieq I have changed to Regal Princess after having NCL Dawn booked. I just kept getting a bad feeling about the Dawn.
  5. Be outside and be observant. Go on an excursion to see them too.
  6. Host Hattie.... I found out the issue. The imbedded link in the October QA is linked to QV. I was able to post this time.
  7. I am trying to start a new roll call in the Cunard Queen Anne section. But when I do, it posts it under Queen Victoria. I have made sure that I am in the Queen Anne section. I am trying to post a roll call for Cherbourg And Bruges (H425). October 11, 2024. What am I doing wrong?
  8. Jim, We have a spoiled Golden retriever. Manassas. She is a dark red and a mess! Your story of Luke nearly brought me to tears. But I am so glad he has you and Iain to love on him. Thank you for rescuing him.
  9. I loved Iain's shirt he had on in Key West. Is his name pronounced the same as IAN?
  10. Yes, due to covid I did not get to meet you and Iain on the Silhouette. They kicked you guys off in Southampton. And thanks the complement on the dolphin pic. We did our swim in Cozumel years ago. ( I am now salt and pepper hair.) That is the only pic that will upload for me to CC.
  11. @Norwaylady I have enjoyed your review so much! We have been to Norway Fjords on Silhouette. We loved Norway. It is so beautiful. We are coming back in 2024 October cruising on Cunard Queen Anne to Norway and the Arctic Circle. ( And hopefully Northern Lights.) We would love some insight on things to do on our stops. Alesund, Tromso (overnight) , Narvik *overnight* and Stavanger. Sorry to be off topic....but I can't think of a better person to ask! We are in our 60's and enjoy being outside.
  12. I am loving the review and pictures! Thanks for taking the time to do this.
  13. Since you are not officially Diamond until your next cruise with Royal as the points will have not posted yet, I would think you would still be Select with Celebrity. But as cruisestitch said, take the documentation to the Celebrity ship and see.
  14. -tacocat- did you stay overnight before the cruise?
  15. I did find out it is Carnival's spot in old San Juan. Thanks for the help everyone!
  16. I Should mention that we sail from and return to San Juan.
  17. I have just booked Brilliant Lady for April of 2024. I am trying to find out which pier Virgin uses. Pan American or Old San Juan? I want to know where to look for a hotel when the time comes. Thanks! Julie
  18. I can 't imagine flying over the pond with a steamer trunk to lug around.

    Pol Aker?

It is almost making me hope a bottle will appear in our Queen Anne Cabin. I kinda want to say I have tried this stuff!
  20. That is because those wipes are not biodegradable. They should not be flushed down any toilet....ever.
  21. Cunard has earned our business. This will be our first Cunard sailing. Can't wait to see Queen Anne in person!
  22. Thank you for the Cunard experience description. We are sailing on Queen Anne October of 2024. That will be our first Cunard experience. We like to dress up, so it will not be a problem.
