I have hung in there for 4 cancelled cruises, but it is getting old. I just don't want to fly over to Greece and not know if the Epic is coming back to the US. That would mean I have to fly back to the US which I am not keen on. I can take a 9 day cruise from the States with little or no flying. Of course, no one can give me an answer.

I am booked on Epic 11/11/21 out of Athens and then staying onboard for the transatantic from Rome to NY starting 11/20 thru 12/521. Any thoughts on whether the transatlantic part of my voyage is going to take place? Thanks

I have done several B2B on Norweigian and have never been made to leave the ship. We are asked to meet at a certain location on the ship, are walked over to Customs officers on the ship . We are then allowed back on the ship. There was no luncheon or fuss. We were allowed to get off the ship if you wanted.

Don't get too excited. I was awarded double points on 2 cruises booked for last March. Both were cancelled and the extra points remained on my account for just about a year. They were finally removed last week.......

Miami Herald reporting that CDC is not going to allow any US Sailings until at least Oct 1.

This reservation had been made in 2019 before all the free promo. My reservations still says beverage, tips were prepaid, beverage charge. Nothing has changed . I don't have air fare so that couldn't be it. Thanks anyway for taking the time to answer.

Just made a payment adjustment on my reservation and noticed a promo code I have never seen before "BVSXIN" and also "SHX50." Any idea?

I have had a cruise booked for Dec, 2020 since Nov 2019. All I wanted to do was to use FCC that I will be receiving because NCL cancelled the cruise. I have not made final payment on the Dec cruise. Just have gotten 3 different answers from NCL personnel. I realize they are overwelmed and all of this is new, so I will wait until 3/23 to call and try to straighten it out. Thanks to all.

Thanks to all for your input. I just had 2 cruisenext certificates and they were a gift from my daughter. My patperwork from the cancelled cruise shows shows that I used them for payment on that cruise. I am not forseeing a problem, just like to prepare.

Thanks so much for the information. Apparently the TWO NCL reps are misinformed. Will wait until it calms down again before I try tackling it. Appreciate the info.

Will let you know after 3/23.

I think the letter they sent out was misleading. It just states future cruises. To me, a cruise booked in December means future!

I had used 2 Cruise next certs to book my cruise, which was cancelled. Asked NCL rep. how I would check to see if these certificates were reinstated to my account. She said go to NCL website under latitudes account and it would show up there. Is that correct information, or am I getting another runaround?

Spoke to NCL this morning and asked if I could take the future cruise credit and apply it to an existing cruise I have booked for December, 2020. The answer is no, it must be applied to a new cruise. What I would have to do is cancel the old cruise and re-book. Of course, after doing a mock booking, the cost has jumped $500. Ugh!!! Now, I am beginning to wonder if I should just take the refund and run! The letter sent out just says "future" cruises, with no explanation..

The cruise is in Dec, 2020, final payment not due until August. I guess I will let the dust settle and see what happens. The girl said there would be more emails coming regarding this. We shall see.

It was reported in the Miami Herald today, as well as mentioned by Trump today at his press conference. It's for real.

If the cruisline files for bankruptcy, it doesn't mean they go out of business. It means they have to reorganize and methodically repay its debts. They just don't shut down and go away.

I would hold off and let those that really need to cancel because their deadline to cancel is approaching. Plenty of time to book.

Can't even get into the dr's office. I called my dr., and even though I am in excellent health, he said he would not sign the form. In his honest opinion, he said no one, regardless of age, should be cruising at this time. He said signing that "permission" slip was a liability.

There are certainly "online" doctors who will certify that a person is healthy and able to go back to work. Just google it.
-
What about the so called "healthy people", younger people, who are not examined by a doctor before they are allowed to board? They are just as likely to transmit the disease. No penalty to them?

Why are the sports organizations, television shows, all cancelling audience participation? Those venues are a mixed age group. There is obviously concern, so why isn't NCL following suit and cancelling? An outbreak is an outbreak regardless of the age. There are many people who have contacted the virus who are under 60 and have suffered serious consequences. So, NCl's cutoff age isn't working for me. It is all about the almighty dollar. Sad.....

I am on the Epic for the tranatlantic in Nov, 2021. It has not been cancelled but I am fearing that the TA will be cancelled and the Epic will remain in Europe.
