I agree Selbourne, we normally get 1 white,1 red and we both drink what we fancy that night , I like to drink my wine straight away and not wait for the wine waiters and the wine turn up while your eating your main meal and we don’t spend as much as we would buying it single, sometimes I like a glass and then a wee bit more but not a whole glass which I would have to force down 😂 . Im sure the epicurean will keep the wine for the following night .

Good morning everyone, well we’ve had a relaxing 3 days before we take our jobs on 😁 takes a little longer to get bright in the mornings but still got woken up by this mornings visitors or island delivery, Andys taken the dog for his morning walk and I’m enjoying a cup of tea on the patio waiting for dad to wake up to give him his pills and breakfast then get him into town to watch the Rangers / Celtic game, I will be doing retail therapy as I would like a new day bag for my upcoming cruise, popped down to the beach the first morning for brunch and a cocktail while we could . The flight out was full and full of children which all were very well behaved, landed early as usual, it’s due to get a bit hotter the next coming days , Andy has now returned and watering the garden before it gets to hot for the flowers and pep the dog is tired after chasing chipmunks. My life saver 😂😂

Well good morning to everyone, I think you are all having a lay-in it’s very quiet here. Its bright and sunny out and the birds are sing , since a few hours ago actually which woke me up. Anyway I brought what looks like a foot torture chamber 😂 but it certainly isn’t, I have had plantar fasciitis for 10 months now along with heel spurs, and been in quite some considerable pain first thing in the mornings and during the day , but hence all my stretches and correct footwear it has never got better, so I brought a foot brace for this after watching a lot of YouTube videos of others experience and after wearing it for 1 night I was pain free in the morning when I got up and also this morning !! I am amazed at how quickly this has worked , it’s not too uncomfortable to wear at night so I will see how long I need to wear it before it’s fully healed but it’s certainly going on the plane with me tomorrow, squeezing it in my hand luggage 😁.

Lovely sunny day here in Dorset today and against my better judgement I went on a organised walk which I thought was just around studland beach, No ! ! We parked the car just after getting off the ferry which took a ages to queue for , meet up with everyone and walk to old Harry Rocks , me with my plantar fasciitis and heal spurs and forgetting my inhaler, walking up a huge hill , luckily my granddaughter lent me her inhaler as I struggled a little, anyway I did it and was rewarded with wonderful views looking over swanage, down to Harry rocks and looking over Bournemouth and Poole , then queuing again for the chain ferry home to a lovely coconut and lime chicken curry I made first thing this morning, and my foot on ice for the past 2 hours, anyway some pictures of my day today.

Kalos I decided to do washing this morning, washing some rain coats for charity since I have brought new ones this year, and when I went to get them out one had disintegrated all on the arms 😂😂😂 and left a mess in the machine, went straight in the bin , I didn’t think I had it that long to do that and it was not a cheap coat to start with, so I will take note and not do anymore washing this weekend 😁

Good morning everyone on this grey and very windy day , it always sounds a lot more windy where I live because I can hear the waves on the beach crashing. Well yesterday we sorted out and paid for our funeral plans 🥴 not a nice thing to do but thought we would do it now while we can so the kids have no problems when the time arises, next on the list when we return from fuerteventura in a few weeks is changing the will , bringing it up to date as it was done 25 years ago. This mornings plan is to go into spec savers to collect my new glasses which only took a week, order some foreign currency for up coming cruise , 4 different types I have had to write down in case I forget, then off to boots to get some new makeup. I sent a email to customer services asking for which speakers were on my may Cruise and much to my surprise I had a reply within 24 hours, I was very impressed, I had about 7 on the list they sent me so I don’t think they will all be on but it gave me a idea of what to expect.

Well I spent almost 2 hours in opticians this morning and new glasses and sunglasses on the way and the bank is ££££ much lighter, afterwards been lugging wood from a cut down tree in our street for our daughters log fires , we got the best bits until others turned up in their cars as well , we got 3 car loads done and son in law going back tonight with the chainsaw has the others are to big , both daughters have about 3 years worth drying out in wood sheds rotating round ,it’s was a shame it came down because it was huge and so old and bit of a land mark .

Good morning everyone,it’s wet outside but not raining and grey skies, I’m off for a eye test this morning and getting some new glasses after 3 years with my pair I use now , hopefully get through the school traffic on time . I was up a lot during the night picking my excursion for when we hit New Orleans first stop in USA, thank you Mrsgoggins for the heads up when they got released, I was surprised that a lot of the two early trips were almost full after checking in every day I mist yesterday because I went to the hairdresser. It’s a bit grey here this morning but we were still up early for a gas check this morning then off to do some food shopping, checked my emails this morning and I have a reply from a email I sent yesterday to Cunard for our upcoming cruise, I’m well impressed how quick I got a reply, I asked if they could let me know who the guests speakers would be on our Japan / Alaska cruise would be and we have seven speakers, not that I know any of them 😁 but I was very pleased with the response, so a tip for you Selbourne for your up coming may cruise if you would like to know because you like tour lectures.
