I ordered my luggage tags at the same time that I did the on line check in. I received the tags in the mail about 3 days later.

Thank you both.

My husband has recently developed a stomach issue, probably an ulcer. I have cruise care. If I cancel for this do you think I'll get a full refund or just the 75% towards a future cruise? My husband is sure we won't get a full refunds as most insurance companies don't want to pay out.

I was surprised to see that there are so few Dockyard to Hamilton ferries in the morning. One at 7:30 and not another for hours. Am I reading the schedule correctly?
-
Just wondering which day they offered the behind the scenes tour?
-
We did the Galley tour on Summit a few years ago. It was interesting, but not free. This time I see their is a full tour for $99. We will probably do it.

I printed my Xpass with no issues on my PC using Windows and IE. Luggage tags were here in two days. Just lucky I guess. I gave up with on the iPad.

I struggled with the website last week. I was trying to use my iPad for check in and luggage tags. I finally called and the said that the site doesn't "play well" with Safari. I tried my desk top ME and breezed right through check in.

We took the excursion last June. It's pricey but we enjoyed it and will probably do it again this June.

Charles- thanks for your reply...you probably don't remember, but you have always given me good advice to me regarding Bermuda. This will be our 4th cruise to be Bermuda and we have spent very little time in Hamilton. W would you suggest we get to the Botanical Gardens, Admiralty Park from the ferry in Hamilton? Also what is BAMZ?

Maybe the day would be better spent going somewhere other than Hamilton?

Thank you.

I'm not much of a shopper, so what else is there for us to do or see in Hamilton?

Glad to read it's not just me! I tried to check in online for days on my iPad. I called and they told me that their site doesn't like Safari? I was able to do it on my desktop with Explorer. Then I tried to book excursions also on my iPad and it keeps bumping me back to their home page. I'm hoping I can do it on my desk top.

You're welcome and good luck. (yn)
Just tried again on my iPad. I selected Manage reservations and then Explore cruise planner but it took me back to Celebrity's Main page. I'll try my desk top before I call Celebrity. Did I mention that I wasn't able to check in on my iPad? I called and they said to use something that didn't depend on Safari. My laptop is Windows/ ME.

Thanks. I'll try again today. Maybe I should use my desktop?

Marine me- thanks. That's been our experience too. We usually get to the port by 10.

I know this is an older thread, but I have a question about booking excursions prior to sailing. We are going to Bermuda on Summit. My cruise is paid in full. Last year the site seemed easier to use. I can't seem to get to the part where you can book excursions? Any tips? Is it because I'm trying to use my iPad? I'm sure I did it last year on my iPad. Just cants seem to get to the correct spot? Help?

We just got off the Summit on Saturday . The staff is amazing ! The food is delicious in all areas! We had no complaints at all! Embarkation and disembarkation were the smoothest we have ever experienced in our 21 cruises! She is an older ship, but in great shape.Entertainment was great too! I would go back in a heartbeat!
Just curious as we will be sailing to Bermuda on Summit in June for the 4th time. What time did they start boarding? And what time did you arrive at the port?

We sailed on Summit to Bermuda in '14, '15 and '17 and are sailing on her again in June. No issues at all. Hoping for none this time too.

Thanks for the info. Extraneous info is always welcome! We are early risers and were often at the gym on Summit by 6am.
-
We are very much into fitness/weightlifting more than aerobic. The gym on Celebrity Summit is great and we are hoping that Grandeurs will be good to? We are booked on a 12 night cruise.

Sneakers look great with a pair of casual slacks like khakis and would make a lot more sense (to me) than shorts or dress slacks.
My husband wore sandals the last 3 or 4 nights of our 7 day cruise. No comments, no stares, nothing. I think a lot of folks here are overthinking this entire MDR/dress code thing.

Just because someone is wearing a tux or an evening gown doesn't mean they have manners. One such couple on our cruise was so obnoxious they were asked to settle down. Most of the to do was over others not being super dressed up as they were.
Fitness center on Summit?

We have been on Summit several times and have always been impressed with the Fitness Center (gym) on Summit. Just wondering if anyone who's sailed on Summit recently has any comments? Hoping that there aren't any issues as my husband is a real gym rat and that would ruin the cruise for him totally.
