  1. I have used P4C at least a dozen times. What problems did you have?
  2. I have met older folk who like the big ships and people decades younger who like the smaller ones. Generalisation is never a good idea.
  3. You talk my language!! I was just idly thinking how many a/c you need for 5000 pax in the Caribbean. I don't know what Maleth holds, but lets say 300 or so - that's at least 20 aircraft. And that's only one ship! And if TUI then how many Premium Economy seats are there? 60?
  4. You can't renew if your policy or upgrades are not due for renewal. Mine are due on April 17th and you can do it one month in advance, so they told me to ring around March 25th. Although there is no longer an age extension with Aviva, I know they don't cover over 85s, but whether they will with Nationwide I have yet to find out.
  5. Yes, I am deliberately renewing mine on March 25th, so I stay with UK Insurance for one more year. Already spoken to them.
  6. That menu would leave me cold. Just a starter I think 😞
  7. We were on Aurora in October and no, you couldn't book before you sail. A few on our table ate at Sindhu and also the Beach House and had no problem getting a table.
  8. People really do need to work out what they normally drink on a cruise. For example, we don't do juices, iced coffees or premium drinks. Only you know what you normally would drink. Also, if the cruise is port intensive, you won't be using that much as you will be ashore. And, if you are ill for a few days, you have wasted quite a lot of money.
  9. Happens everywhere, schools, hospitals and cruise ships.
  10. Just had a look at a cruise to Norway for 12 nights. Package would be £868. We only spent £560 on our 19 night cruise, drink before dinner, bottle of wine and the odd coffee each day.
  11. I just looked at a 12 night Norway cruise. The drinks package is £868! On a 19 night cruise our spend was £560. And that is only alcohol and the odd coffee.
  12. We just buy as you go. The drinks package is mega expensive.
  13. Well ours looks like 4 figures but not with Nationwide Flex Plus!!
  14. Yes, just spoken to the current insurer with NW Flex and my upgrades expire on April 19th, so can renew and stay with them which is a relief.
  15. Yes I read the document, but just saying that Aviva doesn't cover over 85s if you do a quote with them for either travel insurance or car insurance. Will renew on 19th April and see if we can stay with the company who covers them now.
  16. That's OK, how would you know. My insurance is changing company after I renew late April and I happen to know the new company won't cover over 85s.
  17. Cruise starts 25th March 2025 and this is what it says for Alta 30 Mar 2025 - 1 Apr 2025 Arrives in Early Afternoon Overnight
  18. So when it says for Tromso Arrive Afternoon, and overnight - I presume that means you leave at silly o'clock in the morning. It's not a real overnight stay?
  19. I am thinking of fitting it in to March/April as that's when our cruise insurance would cover us. After that, might need to think again about cruising. It's becoming mega expensive. Thanks everyone for your comments. Sounds very positive.
  20. They would have to change the name of OBC (on board credit = on board ) If you could use it before you were on board
  21. It would be March/April, so I'm guessing very cold. Hmmm.
  22. Thanks for that. It just seems a bit samey to me, all the same country and just cold, but it's time we did something different.
  23. Vaguely lookiing at doing a Norway cruise. Not done one before as we usually like warm climes. One of the places listed is Romsdalsfjord, but it looks like you just cruise down the fjord and don't stop Also, can you DIY in these ports, Tromso, Andalsnes, Stavanger. We don't like ship excursions.
  24. I thought you could always use a credit card?
