  1. Definitely Latin dance options on ships with Havana Bars. I’ve seen a lot there especially in the evening. The only issue with the shorter cruises B2B is you end up paying more for cheers! I would suggest just looking at the overall price comparison for what you will buy. We will definitely avoid flying in the day of. Thanks so much for following along.
  2. I agree with this. We went south and had a fantastic time with a pretty much empty area. Then went to a George’s bar.
  3. Amenity questions, definitely. Several specifically asked about slides, water activities, excursions, etc.
  4. Which ship? we will finally go to HMC in October on the Dream. We’ve been to Amber Cove, it was ok.
  5. Well good deal! Thanks for reading and have a great time!
  6. The Carnival birthday beer isn’t bad, but I’m far from a beer snob.
  7. Received a private islands survey tonight following our Princess Cays visit 2 weeks ago. I was happy to convey my likes (the clean beaches, the local music, the space) and my dislikes (the buffet, the same tired shopping options, the tendering) I also mentioned, we would prefer an island further south. Don’t get me wrong, the Bahamas are beautiful, but I love a good southern itinerary. Anyone else receive this?
  8. We sailed Ecstasy in June. Seafood Shack is good. Buffet is not. MDR is good. sea day brunch is a little lengthy, but great steak and eggs! Don’t judge all Carnival cruises by this one. It’s one of the oldest ships. The piano bar is excellent, fun, and great service. Definitely go to Alchemy. Tell DJ Skoot that Megan said HI! Hope you have a great time!
  9. Thank you for catching up! I absolutely LOVE my crew, and I’m sad that they are all going their separate ways. Makes it hard to determine my spring cruises. Gotta see Aris and Teo at some point soon. I Nyoman leaves next week. Mr. Chow, not til Oct. it’s hard having a cruise family. They know there are people who appreciate them. We just like to show extra love!
  10. I guess if the shoe fits… I’ll take responsibility. When Carnival wants to hire a champagne concierge, they know who to call! 😆
  11. It might depend on the ship. I’ve seen 6am-8pm on Ecstacy and 7am-10pm on the Liberty.
  12. I definitely think an 11:10 flight would work. Even with taking a shuttle, we were at the airport about 9.
  13. We’ve sailed the Liberty 5 sailings since January. Self debark with luggage usually starts about 6:30-7. Everyone is off the ship by 8:30-9. We’ve used Cocoa Beach shuttles, would NOT recommend and Airport Canaveral shuttles… definitely WOULD recommend. They offer several time options to and from MCO and are very punctual.
  14. I mean, the first step is admitting there’s a problem, right?! 😆
  15. We were on the Liberty last week and it WAS available.
  16. I’ve seen that it IS open under 5. So hopefully…
  17. Thank you for the review. I’m sailing her in December. Glad your family had a great experience.
  18. Is the ship at 40% capacity? 😆 and are there patron margaritas involved?!
  19. There are bar waiters everywhere, and I find, if you take care of them, you won’t go thirsty. On our last cruise, we were standing in line at a busy bar and a couple jumped in front of us. Our bar server came over, took care of us and we had drinks before the clueless line jumpers. In February, there will be more kids than Princess but not as many as in June or March. Camp Ocean is great for kids. Gives them activities and friends, and you get free time. There will be lines for buffets and some things, but not too bad. My advice, go with the flow and enjoy.
  20. I don’t believe they have said that I’m aware. Sorry.
