RCCL cancelled the drink packages on sailings from the uk because they were being abused.

On my last cruise I had to make it clear to the bar steward to charge some drinks to my seapass card as the drinks were for other family members.

Folks will always try to scam, and coming on here and asking is it OK somehow gives comfort. They know it is wrong otherwise why ask?

I just wish some of the bar staff would grow some and confiscate the cards.

We are probably on the same cruise (5/12/12) and we made the swap. We have DOVV 7175 and upgraded to a guarantee CC. We got 8051, which is listed as obstructed. We want the extra Captains' Club point so we're staying put.

Since you have your cabin allocated you can change to Another cabin in that category, 8145 is available. Also, and I know it is a handicap accessible cabin. #9164 aft is available, with the sailing being this close and with it being a relocation it is unlikely to be filled other than by an upgrade or being aLlocated as a GTY CC.

Booking a cruise for 30 people I would have thought

that the TA would have given you some incentive /bonus

that would have included gratuities, a group booking

like this would surely get some major discount.

The business and upper class fares on Virgin Atlantic are appealing. I'd like to hear the experiences of those who have flown this carrier from the US to London. Is the experience as good as the website makes it look?

We have flown VA Premium Economy and it is far better than BA

Club Class, I would imagine that their Upper Class Product is excellent.

The Service on VA is very good and as an Upper Class PAX you have the benefit of Chauffeur Service from London Heathrow into the City.
