  1. It is indeed! Locals call it Padstein😂 your turn👏
  2. Totally your choice. Have to pinpoint the exact location, though.
  3. Ok, if qbay46 is also ok, I’ll find something.
  4. 😂I think it is rightfully qbay46. Until the Italy clue, I was roaming from NY to Halifax.
  5. Erudite advice, Victoria2. As I mentioned on "that other thread" where sweeping statements abound🙄, we are sailing on Queen Anne next May, and are very much looking forward to our adventure. We most certainly wouldn't pass judgement until we have the experience behind us. We're also looking forward to comparing her with our Queen Elizabeth experience, which was immensely enjoyable.
  6. Syracuse. I wouldn't claim it though, because qbay46 did all the work🙂
  7. Could it be a memorial chapel in Halifax cemetery for the victims of the Titanic? 1912 is the clue I’m following here.
  8. Is it the 1912 Chapel, Mt. Hope, Rochester, New York?
  9. Loving your descriptive writing…feels like we are there. Mille grazie, as they say in Italia.🙏🏻 PS: Mario loves escargot, and we both love mushrooms, but mushrooms are not flavour of the month in Australia recently🫢
  10. Now, certainly🫅🏼. Seems I was totally incorrect, though🤔
  11. Pussycat, pussycat, where have you been?
  12. I agree. They were a tad cringeworthy actually. His earlier work was very different.
  13. He was only 41-42! Mick and Paul may have reason to take issue with you😂
  14. Lyle, tell Lyn my mother also served in the Air Force (WAAF) during WWII, while first husband was posted first to Syria, then to New Guinea. He died in courageous circumstances at Sanananda, at the end of the Kokoda Trail. They were married only six months when she received news of his death. She said the friendship and comraderie she found in the Air Force carried her through those dark days. Lest we forget.
  15. I think we need to seriously take stock of the clues here. We could end up being famous.
  16. Oh yes, I was referring to the fact that so many have tried to decipher its messages. “Miss American Pie”, it’s agreed, is Marilyn Munro (or Norma Jean). I live that piece, but it tends to become an earworm.
  17. More to decipher in that beauty than in the Dead Sea Scrolls.
