Today we are in Mazatlan. Initially I was going to hike to the top of El Faro Lighthouse and the Mirador De Cristal. Iain finally said he would also go but no way is he going out on the Crystal walkway -

Agree - I would never want that cabin again. Luckily my Bose Sleep Buds came to the rescue. -

They were. We met a couple from North Carolina who were staying in Cabo and could see whales jumping from their room. -

The guid was incredible. She is here from the Azores for the winter season and was so knowledgeable. She would prep us with get ready and a whale would come up within seconds. -

6 of the 8 on out whale watching were cc members. Was fun to meet Neil and Judy. Also Eric and his mother. She fell in OVC on first day of cruise and broke her arm. Our guide met us at 11:55 and we were off to our small boat - Big Brother. -

The route took us along the waterfront. The hawkers are everywhere and truly a pest. Always fun thing along the way. -

Took a tender into port. Much quieter today with just Solstice in port. High clouds but a perfect 75 F day. -

We had a great time in Cabo’s today. We had a noon tour so got up late and had a hearty breakfast of eggs Benedict. -

Went. Whale Watching in Cabo’s. Saw more whales than we have ever seen on a tour. -
Just either call in or go back and have them change it. Usually within 48 hours no harm no fowl.

We saw lots of whales. Standby - Pictures later. We were following one for about 35 minutes and he rewarded us with a good time. We were more than pleased with our tour. -
I would agree the food and service are better in Luminae but the menu has far fewer options and we often order from the MDR menu if nothing interest us. Access to Retreat and Retreat Sun Deck are really the game changer.

I'm on an S-Class so pretty easy May be more difficult on an E-Class because of the distances. It never hurts to ask. -
Actually NRD is non-refundable to cash or credit card, but after the $100 pp fee they issue you a Future Cruise Certificate for the remainder. I cancelled a cruise with 1,000 deposit and received a FCC for $800. They told me if I waited and transferred to another cruise they would waive the $100 pp. In our case the difference between a NRD and a Fully Refundable is $1,500 to 3,000 for upper suites so makes sense.

Ahhh.. yes... now I remember. Will be back on Apex in March. Also the Retreat Bartender offered to make me one if I wanted one. She was making Chocolate Martini with Ice Cream for a guest. I guess it's a Vodka Milk Shake. LOL -
Thanks for sharing. Another thing I didn't know about. I couldn’t take the money once I put on machine. I learned what you just said. I didn't get a voucher. Instead they loaded it onto my card and gave me a card with instructions.

I was on Summit and was told if I brought over the Gelato they would make one for me. Does Edge have Gelato station, really don't remember. -
How to make the most of a Transatlantic Cruise?

They have a 14 day rotation and start with day one regardless of length. After 14th day they have day 1 menu again. -
