I was thinking the same. They had just cut the grass quite close. Maybe to spur on some growth.

I also like it - the clubby feel. I think they have far too much furniture in the room and the Piano takes way too much real estate.

I guess it all depends on each of us. I was out walking and had a long Sleeve T shirt over a regular T and ha to remove after 2 laps. Virtually no winds and temps around 60-65. I guess if you are sitting and not generation body heat as I was if could be chilly. I almost came back early to put on my shorts. I think they come out tomorrow as temps are suppose to be 70-75 for arrival at 2PM in Cabos.

Horizontal cards on Solstice

December 3 cruise and she is active now. I was surprised as I thought we ha just missed it. So far a bit underwelmed

Wanted to report that I'm on Solstice and StarLink is Active. No fanfare except there was a card on the desk when we arrived in our room. Speeds are around 5 down and 1.5 -2 Up I tried making a phone call today while out walking laps so may have had issues with switching between routers but the call was choppy at times. Interne variable with some uploads of photos to CC failing 1/2 way through while other times only a second or 2.

I've used VPN Express, Nord, Tunnel Bear, Cisco etc on all classes of ships and never had a problem. Actually I'm using Nord on Solstice right now. You are correct they do block all VPN's dns lookup so if you try to log onto Nord or Express you can't get through. Make sure you have it installed prior to boarding. Once on board I just fire it up. I'm also using NordVPN via my Firestick app and can spoof location. Proof of concept

We did a TA and Med cruise on Edge and loved the ship, the service, the crew and the food. It is different than M-Class and S-Class and each have their pro's and con. I would have not qualms sailing her again and am booked on Apex soon. I think more people complain about unmet expectations than those that SHOUT OUT the great experiences.

Comment on StarLink. Still mixed opinion. I called our daughter. The call VOIP was choppy. May have been I was walking laps and being passed between routers. last night watching Jeopardy had a bit of buffering.

I’ve read so many posts on pickle ball. It was amazing there was a line of 20 to play the winner. Never seen that before. They were lined up along wall and out the entrance.

Time for my walking so had an opportunity to check out decks 14 and 15 We have Princess shadowing us and will share Cabo with us. She got the berth and we will be tendering. First went up to the forward sunbathing area Sundeck on 16 Lots is nice loungers. This is the area that was consumed by The Retreat Sundeck. Can certainly understand the angst that those that lost access to this area.

Went to Michael’s club for our light breakfast. Menu I had 2 Almond Croissants, Greek Yogurt, Berries, Cappuccino and an OJ the retreat was empty

Happy to report the Lemon Rarts with the chocolate dot (my favorite) are available in the afternoon I got 4 so Iain can have two when he gets up from his nap.

OK.. I'm about to go down for my after nap cappuccino. Have to check on the Lemon Tarts. Yesterday they only had chocolate.

Yikes .. .that does look small. I had an almond Croissant and seems may also be smaller.

To my knowledge there are no power outlets near the bed. I always get an extension cord for my computer etc. I noticed the room attendant was taping one down going toward the bed when passing a room.
