Those blow dryers in the cabins are a pain in the butt!
Keeping your finger on the button so it stays on is sooo annoying!
As stated they do not dry the hair quickly.
I agree with sellwingri, bring your own.

I feel that the sports court area and the back of the ship are just too loud. there is music playing almost all of the time and there are people around most of the time, day or night.
Some people like the action but after a late night out I like to look out over the serenity of the ocean. I'd take the obstructed or pay the $700.

If you have ever walked through the theme parks in Orlando during the summer months -you will NOT feel as hot as that!

I recall the suite sun deck on Oasis being only for sky class and above.
-
I recall it being on the second to the last night on Oasis & Allure. I could be wrong.
I would choose Quest.
Remember that it might get raunchy so if you are easily offended, don't go.

I looked in private journeys when we were heading to Puerto Rico for the first time. The minimum was a 4 hour tour and would cost us $600.00!
Plus they don't drive through old San Juan due to the narrow streets so we would have to walk that area.
Also, the service agent was trying to get me to up it to a full day tour!
Needless to say, it was WAY to much money.
We ended up doing a tour on our own with a very nice cab driver we met in town for an agreed upon price that was much much cheaper than private journeys offered.

Honestly in 2019 there's no excuse to not be "savvy" enough to use a tablet
You would think! unfortunately that is not the case. Many people have no one to show them "how"

We played on the Freedom years ago and it was great. The games were long and fun. The cost was high but, it was a good way to spend a decent amount of time on a sea day. Played the next year on Oasis and it was as stated in previous posts, the cost was very high, the tablets kept breaking down and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes. That was the last time we played. No longer worth the time and money for us. ( honestly, just plain NOT fun)
I also wish they would go back to just paper. It felt more inclusive to anyone who wanted to play and less complicated for those who are not tablet savvy.
How about more games with lesser prizes?
Or along with some cash prizes, more fun prizes, such as drink plans, dinners at specialty restaurants, casino credits, credits to shop in the stores, arcade credits for the kids etc.
Make cruise bingo GREAT again!

Order by the glass. Most of the time you'll be given the bottle.

" we encountered the International Champion of Cruising Blowhards, Boasters and Sociopaths."
I have met him on almost every cruise I have taken, along with his wife/girlfriend Miss Rudie B. Nasty
The noisy rude woman who feels it is her cruising right to treat all of the employees as her personal servants.
These poor workers who tolerate her with a smile can never seem to do anything right or fast enough for her and she loves to let everyone in earshot know it.

Sometimes I wonder if people actually READ the post before answering it.😉

Every once in a while i get an email welcoming me on my upcoming cruise on Symphony of the Seas.
I have no such cruise.
At least they are thinking about me!

I feel for you.
Have only been to Roatan once with Royal but it was right after a different cruise
ship had hit the dock there and damaged it.
I had picked that itinerary for Roatan and was bummed that it might have been canceled.
So I sympathize.
Bummer!!!

Allure of the Seas has Mama Mia.

Thank you for the answers to my questions. Glad to hear that you enjoyed Daniel as your Genie.
I knew that Charlie was going home for a visit finally after 2 years on the job but I thought he was returning!
That will make me so sad if he is leaving Royal but, he is smart and talented and I'm sure will have many great opportunities in the future.
He is my favorite Genie.
A really lovely and kind human being.

Thank you for your review of Star Class. How did you like Daniel as your Genie? Was he friendly or just "professional" towards you and the family? Was he efficient? Did he do any extras, like leave little treats or gifts or notes?
I have had a few Genies but never Daniel, although I have seen him around the ship (was on Allure in Feb. and had Charlie as our Genie)
Would you do Star Class on Royal again?

I have previously voiced my opinion on these kinds of things and had some negative replies. Glad to see that the tide has turned in my favor this time.
Pigs are not aquatic animals. They go into the water for the food that is offered.
They can swallow the sand-and die from it.
Dolphins do not deserve to be paraded around for human entertainment. Period.

Towels are provided on the suite sun deck-for the people in the suite.
-
Why would suite guests on Allure get reserved seating at the pools when they have the entire suite deck to themselves?
I understand that there is no pool on that level but, you can walk down the steps and take a dip in the solarium pool.
That being said, I have been on Allure twice and have never seen any reserved section at the pools for suites.

I know the Scottish love the sun but,
What month?
Magic Kingdom can feel like the center of the sun during the summer months.
June, July, August, September and sometimes the early part of October.
Plus it gets packed! You will wait a very long time for those "baby rides"
14 nights is a long time with a baby at Disney.
I wish you the best vacation ever! whatever you decide!

The ones I have encountered on Allure, Oasis, Harmony etc., only stay on if you keep your finger on the button when using.
(safety?) idk.
I bring my own. It dries faster.

Wouldn't miss them if they were to go.
Don't care for the food.

I guess some people do go to sleep at 9:30
I'm not that person.
It was over at 11.
The venue should have been different but it was over at 11.
It was over at 11!
It was over at 11!
Maybe the compensation should be free earplugs.

Noticed Changes in RCL Cruising Overall

I know there are Windjammer haters out there but, I love the variety, the quietness at dinner time and the choice to stay as long or as little as I choose.
The main dining room is too slow for me.
