Nice empathy in this thread I see. Let's recap:

    - Reasonable suggestion for an elevator dedicated to wheelchair/scooter access during certain peak hours

    Response?

    - INVISIBLE DISABILITIES MATTER

-SCREW YOU NANNY STATE, WAIT YOUR TURN

-EMOTIONAL SUPPORT SCOOTERS KILLED MY PARENTS

Reality check people, I'm blessed to be able to walk up and down more than 3-4 flights of stairs at a time. I can also wait more than 5-10 minutes. I encourage others who can't to go ahead of me. No, I don't ask questions about what happened or why they are in a chair or scooter. Why?

Because we're on vacation, and vacations are fun. Ease up and get the drink package y'all.

    Best response so far!

Congratulations on acting like a kind and decent human!

Understand the "importance" for GoT-ers to see the episodes as they first appear, but seriously, is it worth the cost of the streaming package for just one hour?  The first show has been repeated ad infinitum and the second show is close behind.  If you wait until your return you can binge watch the entire season thus far and catch epi 4 at home in the comfort of you big screen.

    yes.

  3. I'm sorry your experience was not Fabulous- It should have been considering what you spent for it. Each Genie is different. I have had quite a few. Some of them are truly "magical", some not so much. Some will go way above and beyond the expected, while others do just what is required. Some of the Genies have been friendly, caring and lovely while others have been stiff, reserved,  and impersonal. I have learned more with each sailing  and now express to the Genie what I expect from them.  Also, letting them know that you have had other Genies and what your experience was with them seems to provide more personalized service.  There are a couple of Genies I would love to have again and one or two I could do without. Its unfortunate that we don't have a true collection of Genie reviews and that it is near impossible to request a certain Genie for an upcoming cruise.

That being said- I would definitely find a way to express your disappointment with your Genie service with R.C. because right after you got off the ship -another family got that same Genie!

  4. When we sailed in March (on the Allure) there were 3 high top tables right in front of the suite deck bar that had those ashtray thingeys right in the center of the tables. I saw many people smoking at them. however, I do believe it is the ONLY area on the suite sun deck that you can smoke. On the Oasis suite sun deck this was NOT available.

  5. We did Maya Key through Royal.

The beach was lovely-the snorkeling (extra) but reasonably priced- was fabulous! (beautiful water, lots of fish)

The lunch was good, fish rice, veggies etc.

The boat to get us there was right at the pier.

Not a fan of the animal sanctuary but I don't like animals in captivity.

Lots of boats back to the ship, every 1/2 hour or so.

    Would do it again.

  6. 1.  Attend the Quest show-If you have an open mind, are not offended by some bad behavior and like to laugh.

    2.  Try the solarium, it is quieter than the regular pool area.  A nice place to read a book.

    3.  Skip Cats ( my opinion)

    4.  See the Aquatheater show!

    5. Walk around the outside of the ship at night. It is really beautiful.

  7. I would keep the grand suite and save the money. like you said, the amenities for the OS would be the same as the GS.

The balcony in the CLS is small.

The nice thing about the CLS is that you are on the same level as the suite lounge.

If you had originally wanted any of those other rooms you would have booked them at the start.

With the OS all you would gain is more space.

    Spend the money elsewhere!

  8. The bars can get pretty warm, especially if they are crowded and you are drinking!

    The restaurants feel comfortable.

Ice show area and show venues can be cooler.

aqua theater felt warm but breezy (February 2019, May 2018, September 2017)

solarium is warm and sometimes windy.

As soon as we get in our cabin we knock that a/c down to as cold as it will go and leave it there for the rest of the cruise!

Elevators can feel like an oven if crowded enough.

    Casino is cool but smokey
