  1. On the Chill Island side, where most people snorkel, not many rocks at all, mostly sand.
  2. I've read this enough times to believe it. As posted earlier, the problem is that all the food is cooked using "ship water", the ice cubes come from "ship water" if you have any cocktails with ice, etc. Not saying bottled water won't help, it should, just mentioning it's not necessarily the drinks that the salt is coming from. I wish you the best in finding a solution that works for you and am fortunate that OTC water pills work for me and I don't really have to use the facilities all that much extra.
  3. Adventure + Grandeur is going to total a lot less people than almost any current combination this summer. Cococay has expanded since then but not sure it would offset the difference.
  4. That could definitely help but you canโ€™t get rid of the salt in the food, ice, etc. Hope whatever you try works. The pills pretty much solved the problem for meโ€ฆ provided theyโ€™re on the ship & not in my house. ๐Ÿ™ˆ
  5. On our Harmony 5/29 cruise they were validated 30 days out after uploaded 45 days out. For our 7/15 & 7/18 B2B on Indy, we're 25 and 28 days out and still not validated. Short answer... it varies and doesn't really matter as mentioned above. You have to show them at the port anyway.
  6. Many/most are close enough to full you might as well consider them full.
  7. This. But if you're a dumbass like me and don't pack them, you take them as soon as you get home. The box actually says you can take multiple per day but I take one.
  8. Not who you asked but these are the ones I use. Diurex Max... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007Y3B4CE?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details If it makes you feel better, I was in my 30's the first time it happened. ๐Ÿ™ˆ
  9. Gotta watch out for those East coast Floridians and that attitude! ๐Ÿคฃ
  10. Very very true on the policy change part. It would make sense that they gave you wristbands from the start. I assume most people plan to leave their cabana if they bothered to get one in the water park... since, you know, it's a water park. ๐Ÿ˜
  11. No outside cause for me that I know of. When I realized I had forgotten my pills this last cruise, I started googling for other remedies. There are natural diuretics like parsley or lemon. Saw some old posts of people asking for a plate of parsley in the MDR. I wasn't up for that, lol. One thing I tried that helped a bit was spending some time with my feet elevated while in bed.
  12. I swell up so badly I take water pills now. I freaked out the first time it happened. Legs and feet were so swollen I had cankles and sandals barely fit. Learned it wasn't that uncommon and was from the salt after googling. Forgot my pills on Harmony a few weeks ago. Fortunately didn't really start until say 6 and wasn't that bad.
  13. Agreed. I average 10-13 on a 7-night cruise although some of it is water weight/swelling so it's slightly artificially high. Almost lost back all the weight from my 5/29 7-nighter in preparation for 7-nights on 7/15. The concern here is the grilling on July 4th. I am not skipping burgers and dogs! May lose the rolls at some point to go carb-free though. Our family usually grills way too much and I'm the garbage disposal.
  14. Yep, makes sense that different types of cabanas are handled differently. I wrongly assumed you meant an OTW cabana.
  15. Now Iโ€™m waiting to hear that โ€œJohnโ€ is a goldfish & his name is really Bill. ๐Ÿคฃ
  16. 1. Not sure if everyone remembering it makes that song less or more special to me now, lol. 2. I actually knew it was Italian night in WJ. We booked Giovanniโ€™s for night 3 even though it will likely be Italian night, which my picky wife would obviously enjoy. Cook to order pasta is one of her go-toโ€™s. It was either that night or the 1st night of the 2nd half of the B2B & that Monday night in Giovanniโ€™s wasnโ€™t accepting reservations, period. I even called to ask if it was a glitch or if some giant party bought out the whole restaurant or something. Seemed very odd but was told itโ€™s just full. Anyway, from your limited WJ pics, looks like weโ€™ll be fine on those other nights, so glad you posted them.
  17. There had to be a reason a cheapskate like me who is perfectly content in the WJ pays for it. Happy to hear it was so good!
  18. Holy crap. I guess, they never stopped playing it. Can't believe that was such a clear memory to you. My wife actually bought the album when we got home.
  19. Hope the remaining time passes quickly with no hiccups! Anecdote no one will care about coming... Fond memories of going on Mariner for my 5th anniversary in 2007. There was a random song that they played so often in so many venues it got stuck in our heads. It happened to be called "Love Today" and has been wife's ringtone for me for to this day.
  20. Yep, used to know Voyager class well, then sailed on Freedom once when she was in PC. It was pretty much Oasis class ever since.
  21. D'oh! That's what I get for trying to jump in and hang with the big time posters. Hi Ellen. My bad. ๐Ÿ™ˆ
  22. Thanks for bringing us! Greatly appreciate the specific info I may have asked for along the way btw. I've been on Oasis-class for so long, I felt like I had forgotten what Freedom class was like.
  23. Exactly how I feel but I'm 26 days out from a B2B on Indy. Also still waiting on official GTY assignments and RoyalUp bids for both halves... and of course the covid test. I need more live reports to help fill the time! What ship you going on, Molly?
