  1. This sums it up. If something is worth it to you, buy it! If it's not, don't!
  2. As with any major change, some people will be in favor, some won't.
  3. Pre-covid you could book a neighborhood GTY or an OV GTY (OV was more expensive). Did they do away with this?
  4. Anything is possible, especially with Royal IT. I have read that they do send an e-mail stating your bid was not accepted... and you often receive it once you are already onboard the ship.
  5. Brutal out here near Disney with you and in pretty much all of central FL right now.
  6. Perhaps make friends with them? Even a contact high could help you eat more!
  7. Not the start your followers were looking for, John. 🤣 Hope you recover strong & hit up Playmakers again tonight.
  8. Thanks but I've read it like 20 times in the app and my cruise is still 28 days away, lol. I plan my drinks and my (mostly) free ultimate dining in advance. 😁
  9. Walgreens has rapid NAAT tests, which are a form of PCR test and results are e-mailed in less than 2 hours. 99% sure you can use these for unvaxxed kids to meet the PCR requirement. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
  10. That was my DL go-to drink with the pre-covid limited happy hour menu. Too many more fun things to order with vouchers now.
  11. Agreed. Most of those sounded interesting to me. Can't wait to try them on Indy next month.
  12. Thanks for sharing. I don't need one for several weeks but I saw others having issues on another forum.
  13. A thousand apologies kind sir. I will try to be patient. I figured parking would be a breeze but good to know. We'll be there around that time next month and it was similar on 5/29 for Harmony.
  14. Quantum class is very different from the other newer classes.
  15. I can take a picture of Red Bull at Publix! Where's the food porn? We're all drooling out here in forum-land!
  16. I don't have the menu but I can tell what they brought us from there when we had an OTW Cabana recently... Apps - ceviche, shrimp cocktail, crudite, hummus Mains - filet mignon, lobster, coconut crusted lobster sandwich (fries on the side) Desserts - rum cake, caramel brownies, cookies This isn't the full menu but it's a start. I'm sure someone somewhere has the actual menu.
  17. This was pretty similar to my experience. Voyager was my first cruise as well. No interest if there's not a promenade (exception made for Alaska in 2018 b/c the cruise came after 10 days on land and we weren't there for the ship so it wasn't a big deal). Have sailed nothing but Oasis-class since 2017 other than the above exception. All that said, we're doing a B2B on Independence next month and I'm actually looking forward to dropping back down a class, although there were several more prominent reasons we booked it.
  18. Didn't happen to see any iguanas on my recent visit but did see several wild chickens... (Insert Snack Shack chicken sandwich joke here)
  19. Agreed, although if you cruise a ton of days per year (like John), it's probably not a big deal.
  20. That's "mysterious friend" to you. 😁 I know ya did. I quoted you but it wasn't really directed at you.
  21. WHEW! Crisis averted! I never said there was no promenade on Voyager, lol. One poster misunderstood a comment I made and posted about it. Sheesh! 🤣
  22. Thanks for the sleuthing! We always park in the garage. Another bonus to my Indy B2B next month!
  23. Unfortunately, many ports don't seem to be checking/enforcing the arrival times and cruisers are choosing to arrive well before their assigned times as well.
