  1. More than once when we did that we never saw them again for various reasons. This happened to our room steward twice and servers a couple of times. So now we wait until the end.
  2. We don’t bother with the envelopes, cash is easier for them to put into their pockets
  3. We had lots of cancelled cruises during the shutdown, so as soon as we could we used all the FCCs to cruise during the double points time frame. (Partly because the FCCs had an expiration date). Prices were better than they are now, but this is expected as prices are higher for everything.
  4. If only Celebrity would bring a ship to Pt Canaveral we would hop on….. it’s not worth it to us to drive that far for a 4 or 5 night cruise

  7. last cruise we were on I asked our room steward how many rooms he was responsible for and he said 25. I know he was not only working in our hallway with many cabins, but across the centrum/elevator area on the other side, because I saw him there too. I felt so bad for him, he looked exhausted. So it’s not exaggerated at least on the ship we were on…..

  9. I’m a pro at filling the bag. My DH can’t believe what I can fit in there.
  10. We’re also doing 2 segments of the WC and during those 2 cruises there’s only 1 sea day, all the rest are in a port. We have TMobile so we get free data and texting in all the countries we’re visiting while in port, so we’ll only be without service at night and that 1 sea day. Since we each get the 2 days, we’re thinking we won’t really need them except for that one sea day. I wasn’t sure if the plan you’re looking at gives you the service on the ship or while in port?

  12. From what I recall it’s the same as on all the Radiance class ships. Just the outlets on the desk…unless something changed since January
  13. That’s never happened to me, I know friends that suffered with that even after a 7 night cruise.
  14. I always send the email for my DH but as of yet, they have never had anything ready and didn’t know about it. So I’ll continue to send the email hoping it gets to the room steward one day
  15. Would you need the adapter to also be a converter so you don’t ruin the CPAP?

  17. Yes that was the cabin rate for us both. Cruises 20 years ago were not cheap. I have no issue with royals focus, but it’s sad for those who dont cruise just for the ship
