There is already free WiFi in all cabins. There just isn't free Internet. You can access the intranet for free via the onboard WiFi. You can use it to check your folio and onboard activities. You can make a personalized list of activities you want to attend. You can use it to message others onboard (although there is no push notification that one has received a message).
Sounds to me like you want free Internet service rather than simply free WiFi.
Yes. Want free internet in cabin . It's time . Let's go Princess !!!

i traveled in 2012 on a princess southbound cruisetour starting in Fairbanks . After touring Fairbanks, Denali, and Mt Mckinley lodge we left on the blue/yellow alaskatrain from Talkeetna to Whittier to pick up ship. Our train was not a double decker but a single level dome car where we sat at tables seating for 4. There was no special Princess double decker car with the usual airplane/ train seats all facing forward with an option to go to a special dining car . This ride was approx 4 hours
My brother just returned from his northbound Alaska cruisetour where they took the train from Whittier all the way to the Denali lodge . They had the double decker special Princess cars with really comfortable looking seats and an alternative dining car . This trip was 8 hrs . So my question for anyone is does Princess use the double decker only for the longer train routes ? If so next time I'll do the northbound cruisetour instead of south

avid cruiser , love princess but isn't it time for princess and all lines to offer free wi-if in cabins. Any thoughts ? Will it ever happen , it seems it has to

Would love to hear some thoughts from ppl who have taken the tour to catacombs . Do you recommend as a must see in Rome

Nice cabin, nice location. Yes, two chairs, two foot stools, small table which if I remember correctly is a low table.
Caribe deck balconies also have two chairs, two foot stools and a larger high table.
Thx . I prefer midship . And I think for such a port intensive cruise the small balcony will be fine . I've always wondered about the aft cabins because I love to look at ships wake but I also like convenience of mid ship location

The cabin we booked is B342 midship, with the 9 x 5 balcony. Do they have at least 2 chairs on that size balcony?

We are booked on the Crown next June for Mediterranean cruise. Booked Baja deck balcony. Are the caribe deck larger Balconies at approx $150-200 pp more really worth it. Very port intensive cruise with only one sail day, so not sure we will be sitting on balcony hours and hours.

We did a cruise in 2012 on Coral from Whittier starting sept 9. The seas were not rough at all. Don't hesitate to go in September . In fact we had fabulous weather in Glacier bay and all ports except Skagway . Also the precruise in Denali from sept 6-8 had gorgeous sunny days .

so we are on princess next June from Rome to Athens , staying in Athens 2 nights post cruise . Anyone know approx what time we would get off ship and head to our hotel? And any good ideas how to spend the rest of day , since we want to day the Acropolis and Sojourn tour the next day after being a bit rested .
There is a 4 hr food walking tour that sounds great through Viator that might be a way to spend time until hotel lets us officially check into room. I'm assuming they would hold our bags while we tour

We were on a different cruiseline in Salerno, but we only booked private tours! We used Sorento First Choice tours and the eight of us met our driver at 8 and were among the first to leave. We beat all the cruise ship busses, and we went to Positano Ravello and Amalfi, spending a lot of time at each location, something we wouldn't have been able to do if on a larger bus, and also we got into the places that larger vehicles simple just cannot get into. It was a spectacular day!
Thank you. The more answers and research , I'm beginning to see if I want to see Positsno I've will need an independent tour off ship . The ship is in Salerno until 7 pm, so I'm sure the independents are fully aware. Also, Positsno ravello and amalfi seem to be within a 40 miles radius from Salerno .

We are on the Crown princess Mediterranean cruise next June. we stop in Salerno.
Viator has some great tours from Salerno port that go to positiono, almafi and ravello . The tour
Small-Group Amalfi Coast Day-Trip from Salerno Including Lunch - is 8 hrs and leaves from port at 8 am. So 8 hrs should get us back to ship by 4.. well before the 7 pm when ship leaves port. After an experience on celebrity tour where our bus broke down and ship had to wait for us , I'm hesitant to book tours off ship. But Princess excursions from Salerno do not stop in Positsno. Has anyone taken full day tours in Salerno not with ship.

We just spent two weeks on the Crown in the Baltics, disembarked a week ago. It was a lovely ship with good food and excellent service. It is an older ship, but has been well maintained and looks beautiful. The entertainment was good and the staff friendly and cheerful. The only problem we had was that they made us pack up and get off at the end of the cruise!
Thank you. We won't be on the Crown until June 2018 and I hear there will be a major refurbishment at end of March 2018. Looking forward and I agree the end of a cruise is so sad

when does Princess start offering their pre and post cruise hotel packages. We are booked for a Mediterranean cruise for next June and the website does not offer any hotels in Rome and Athens. I called Princess and the rep told me there was one hotel in Rome at over $700 per night? Didn't princess usually offer a few hotels at different ranges ?
Also, any recommendations for Rome hotel and Athens hotel ?

If cruising first from Vancouver , 7 days then 4 nights on land. Is there a restriction of bags allowed per person ?

Hi, I've read a lot of negative reviews which concerns me for my June 2018 Med/ Greek island cruise out of a Rome on the Crown. Would love to hear from others . We have cruised the Coral, Golden Grand and Carribean princess and all have been great . So what's up with the Crown ?
-
Highly recommend the Coral :)
-
Well while reading this is concerning, we are booked on the crown for June 2018 Mediterranean , Greek island cruise. The itinerary is so fantastic, Rome, Salerno, Corfu, Crete, Mykonos, kotor Montenegro and Athens that ill hope the crown improves by then. Any others here have any positive comments regarding the Crown. ?

does the sip and sail include beverages like San pellegrino and Perrier?
-
Yes the price on the cruisetour has dropped significantly by $900 per person not just the cabin only . And even though final payment has been made and only 11 days ago at that , it would be wrong if them not to match it .
-
if I have paid for my cruisetour leaving in 2 months and Princess drops price of my type of cabin, in this case a regular balcony, will they match the price for my already booked cabin or must I change cabins to get the lower price?
