  1. How does X handle this? We'll be on Beyond in the Spring 2024 out of Ft Lauderdale, we do have the same cabin for the first 2 sailings though different on the 3rd.
  2. We used to do same until we experienced a steward change the morning of debarkation. On one occasion our former steward was moved to a different deck. On a couple of others, they were actually debarking themselves. Now we pass directly to tbem on the next to last day.
  3. We just renewed...5 weeks, 2 days turnaround. Standard renewal by mail, not expedited. Sent Priority Mail on 6/20, rec'd new one on 7/27. Enjoy.
  4. Thank you for the info. We'll make res prior and forego any money savings with a dining pkg...if there even is any savings. Thanks again!! Enjoy
  5. Either would do. I'd go by price and any onboard credits you might get. BTW, ask the same question on Carnival board and I'd bet Legend would get more votes as Radiance is here. We sail them all, some for the itinerary and some for the ship itself. Make the most of if. Enjoy.
  6. So if you purchase a package prior to sailing, you can't make a specific res until you board, correct? If that's the case, then you might have to settle for what you can get as far as venue, date and time...would that be correct understanding? It may not be an issue at all after boarding but wanted to ask. We would be on the Beyond. TIA. Enjoy.
  7. agree with Essie...too, it might slightly hang over the Promenade. Make the most as you said...you'll be on a cruise. Enjoy.
  8. they moved us to the Beyond 5n sailing, departing 4/22/24. We also had the Reflection 8n sailing for 4/27/24. They moved that one to the Beyond 8n, 4/27/24.
  9. Thanks for the info. We're not trying to skirt the rules and this is exactly what I was looking for. The ones over and above the initial 6, would merely be popping by. Wasn't sure if the cabanas were in an area that required a special armband/pass to access that particular area. Thanks!
  10. Thanks for info. So with cabana, the additional 4 wouldn't be able to pop by cabana? Tough doubtful there would be more then 3 or 4 at cabana at anytime
  11. I understand this includes 6 passes to water park and the cabana is for 6. We have a group of 10. If we get a cabana (for 6), plus 4 additional water park tix, would the other 4 be able to access the cabana as well? It's very unlikely that all 10 would be at the cabana at the same time. I hope this makes sense, lol. Also, current cabana is priced at $1380 and water park at $169. Are these prices somewhat normal, will they decrease/increase? This is for a sailing in June 2024. TIA, enjoy.

  13. Thank you both, very helpful and much appreciated. Enjoy
  14. Flying in on Sunday, June 4, from Atlanta., arrival schedule for 1230p at CDG. Could someone give a rundown on anticipated timeframe to collect luggage, go thru immigration and any other steps before heading to taxi lineup? I'm thinking 35-45 minutes to get to our hotel but please do correct if I'm way off. I understand the unknown variables..late arrival, jammed up at immigration, traffic, etc. Just trying to get an idea how long it might take so we can make afternoon/evening plans. TIA, Enjoy.
  15. Will be on Wonder in June, Eastern Caribbean. Question...while in port, what venues might be open on the ship (primarily for kids 7 and 10yrs)? We want to decide if we're going to a beach or stay on the ship and enjoy it...if kids venues might be open. TIA.
  16. We're booked for Norwegian Fjords cruise, June 2023. No shore excursions are showing up once logged in on their site. Never seen this before especially at less then 7 months out. Any similar experiences? I've already posted on the "roll call" forum as well. TIA
  17. We had a great day with this group...https://hollandwindmills.com/ Spent the day with Teun, he was very knowledgeable, flexible and prompt in responding (note: most responses were after hours as he is touring others throughout the day). Be sure to check your junk mail and if not heard from him in 24-36 hours, I suggest writing back. I did have a couple of emails that never got to him. We wouldn't hesitate to go again with him. Our group was only 4 so not sure if your 12 would present an issue. Best of luck and enjoy.
  18. ah,, thank you for not blasting me! I find this very interesting and your knowledge is exciting. Thank you for the read, going back to your explanation now. 😁
  19. Wow...I was interpreting correctly in that cm = centimeters. Sooo...to further understand correctly, at 55cm that river is roughly just under 22 inches in depth? If that is the case, how the heck can anything flow down it? Again, call me navigational ignorant. Sorry
  20. Have been following this thread as I find very interesting. Pardon my ignorance but the "cm" being used for measurements, is that for centimeters or some other navigational/weather abbreviation? Again, my apologies for lack of knowledge. Was just curious, thank you in advance. 🙂
  21. We will be flying inbound from Atlanta (Delta Business Class), arriving midday on a Sunday. Transferring to hotel for 4 days pre-cruise. Should we plan for the worst, hope for the best while collecting our checked bags?
  22. Thank you Pontac. I missed your reply. Thank you. Enjoy
  23. We'll be doing this with Viking, Amsterdam to Basel. We board on a Tuesday. Typically what is boarding time? It's my understanding it varies based on river traffic. Just trying to button down a quick tour in the morning prior to getting on board. TIA
