  1. I have a MSC cruise booked, and I upgraded to the premium package. They charge full price if you go over the limit.
  2. The genie can get the food that makes up the tower, but I think the actual tower is no longer on the ship.
  3. How are you tipping for your WJ meals? Handing a dollar to each server, at each station? As a former waitress, if you worked at a place where you gave the bartender and busboy a portion of your tips, you'd be ok with me handing you $20 and saying "I want you to keep this for yourself, because I didn't interact with those other people?"
  4. We booked this ship (6 may) and the Seascape. Not only two ships that haven't sailed yet, but this will be our first time on MSC!
  5. Hi all. My wife @Hutchswife and I are booked on this cruise. We are traveling from the Washington D.C. area to London for a couple of weeks, and decided to take the train over to France for this beautiful cruise. We look forward to meeting many of you. Hutch
  6. Has anyone gotten the P+ or FAS+, and then added people to their booking? Do they automatically upgrade those people to P+, and just add it into the booking? Here's my dilemma. I have a 7 day Alaska booked for myself and wife. We would get the P+, so the FAS+ is a no brainer. We're looking at adding our son and his GF to our booking. He'll just be 21 that week, and unlikely to drink anything but beer. She's under 21. $500 (wife & me) for the P+ I can justify. Bumping that up $250 for my son is a hard pill to swallow. He just won't get any use out of it, aside from maybe water. I know I could take that $750 worth of drink package, and just pay a la carte, but I know when faced with putting the top shelf stuff on my final bill, I probably would not. So, if I upgrade before I add them, will they still force me to upgrade them to P+??
  7. I don't think I've heard of the Adult Bev package before, but with the premium plus package, you're all set. For coffee, it also includes Starbucks. Great tip above on the wine. If you ask nicely, they'll just open the bottle of wine, without pouring a glass, and let you take the full bottle back with you. You could also do this with a full unopened bottle of Moet for morning mimosas. Depends on the server.
  8. Did you decline the Free At Sea, which includes the drink package, and then purchase it separately? Or did you upgrade to the Premium Plus package? On the standard drink package, you get fountain drinks, juice (not fresh squeezed), and regular coffee. With the premium plus package, you get just about anything offered by glass on the ship.
  9. Awesome. Thank you both for the help. I've never gotten additional nights when cruising, so, I wasn't sure why it sounded like it was just a given that I was already getting 3 points per night on my Haven booking. I do have the Latitude code. I will see if I can get it changed to the Latdblx. Thanks again.
  10. So, are you saying that if I booked prior to this offering, I'm getting 2 points per night? Where can I see that?
  11. When someone hands you a drink, you respond by tipping it back!
  12. But the terms do say "2 extra nights". Is it a typo?
  13. So, in the conditions it say 2 extra points per night. When you click on the "Select Cruises" link it takes you to the applicable cruises. All the cruises there come up as 1 additional point per night. Has anyone else seen 2?
  14. You got a Haven suite for $4,100? You need to post that in the "Best deal for Haven" thread! That's under the $300pp/pd mark.
  15. Last week was 50% off of both, so it's the same. Just like RCL does their drink packages.
  16. You'll only have spillover natural light in the bedroom if you leave the doors open. Also, it is nice have the bedroom open up onto the balcony in the other configuration. Here are a couple of pics of the room with the bedroom against the balcony
  17. I have a cruise booked that I plan on upgrading to the FAS+. Right now, it's my wife and me. We are thinking of adding our son (21) and his girlfriend (19). 1. What would be the charge with the FAS+ if we add them? The premium + will be a waste on him. 2. If I pay for the upgrade now, for just my wife and me, will they automatically add the charge once I add 3&4 to the booking? TIA
  18. That's exactly what she wanted you to know
  19. You are the first I've seen, out of dozens, to report that sodas stocked in the room are free. I was in an aft PH, in Mar, and there was a price list right next to the fridge.
  20. Make a deal with the butler that you won't call him three times a day to deliver a fountain soda if he provides you with cans. 😁
  21. Unless you are in one of the few suites that covers the sodas in the fridge, be carful. If you look around, you might find the price sheet.
