  1. I do have friends on Jewel that left from there this week, I'm stuck in snowy Ohio.
  2. We previously cruised Enchantment out of Baltimore, friends we sailed with sent us pictures of arriving in Baltimore today on Vision.
  3. I do, but I am very adept at getting what I want out of a review, so like you (Still reviewing as Blue Collar Diamond Diamond +) I throw a lot out there and expect people to skip over what they don't want to see. Back to reading
  4. This can vary by CD more than the ship itself. Anyone comment on Love and Marriage and Quest on Wonder? We cruise in Late May so we may not know whom our Cruise Director is in a few weeks. (Yes, I know you may not care about whom the CD is) I've found they can make these 2 events more pleasurable.
  5. I assume they still have a channel on the television that shows how busy different restaurants are.
  6. On Allure we had a breakfast in the Solrium Bistro, do they still do that? I don't have my room assigment yet, so the closest breakfast may win some days, but If they serve Turkey Bacon, I'll be sure to avoid that blasphemy
  7. Thanks, we have enjoyed this on Symphony, Oasis, and Allure, glad to see they still do it.
  8. Do they still do complementary breakfast at Johnny Rockets?
  9. Thanks for taking the time, opinions are exactly what I was looking for. I guess I'll finalize my plans once I know my boarding time.
  10. Next question, Does the Park Cafe still have the Roast Beef Sandwiches? We have had them on Allure, Oasis and Symphony and have found them hit or miss, but it can be a quiet place to eat on boarding day. On other Oasis class ships we avoided the WJ on boarding as we found it too small for this class of ship. I've heard Wonder has a nicer WJ and I know we will visit it, just haven't decided if we will hit it before checking out the ship on boarding day. Being D+ we should be boarding early, I assume it doesn't open its doors till 11am? We last got on Enchantment and Mariner well before 11am. In the past we have just sat on the boardwalk and enjoyed a hot dog from the dog haus. (If the weather is nice)
  11. Thanks for a great post Mike, I will remember the breakfast possibly being here, will check that out.
  12. Any reviews of El Loco Fresh? Haven't visited one of them yet.
  13. Just put in my retirement notice effective 7/1 - I think we may check out some 4 day cruises from Tampa as well.
  14. I did my first ever Carnival Cruise on Freedom and also found the buffet and dining room underwhelming. If you want to see the POV of a Royal cruiser here is a review I did earlier this year.
  15. Your on Quantum coming up next? Is that where you are thinking about? I've loved the thermal suites on the Radiance class, it included heated form fitting seats with a window view, steam room, dry sauna, a eucalyptus room and cold water refreshements and plenty of towels. They also limited the number of people they sell it to for less crowds (This was Jewel in 2013 and 2018) My experience on the Oasis class was it wasn't quite as nice and very crowded. Haven't done the quantum class yet.
  16. Blue Lagoon has all their own boats,. I've taken them 4times so far, been to Pearl Island twice and they have different boats. Pearl is closer into the port and Blue Lagoon a few miles our further.
  17. Jeff Arpin has been on Liberty quite a bit. Pre-covid I use to see him at the travel expo here in Columbus, Ohio. I believe he and his wife live here. She was either a travel agent, or a Royal employee in some function.
  18. I decided to add one more post to this thread. I've been following Carnival Freedom after we got off when it went to Spain for a new paint job and new funnel! She is back in her home port right next to my last Royal Ship Mariner. Goodbye to this thread.
  19. My last post in this thread will be to post this picture. Its been about 6 weeks since we got off the ship. Freedom is on her way back to Port Canaveral sporting her new paint job and whale tail funnel.
  20. My last post in this thread will be to post this picture. Its been about 6 weeks since we got off the ship. Freedom is on her way back to Port Canaveral sporting her new paint job and whale tail funnel.
  21. Which is why I had this in my original post - will of course be searching youtube, but if you did a video you are proud of, feel free to link it. If you have a review here on CC, feel free to point me to it directly. (I'll go looking)
  22. We will be visiting the south end again by the former Club Orient. It was still pretty bad looking in 2018, but the beach was still nice with plenty of room.
  23. Will be watching, we were last there in 2018. Paid $20 for two of us then. Back in Late May!
