  1. Hi Saya.

We have been on Celebrity, RCL, NCL, Princess, Azamara, Cunard & MSC.

All cruises have been very good, although MSC ship was a super ship the 6 language announcements were awful & Azamara was the most luxurious, but found it too staid for us as at10.30pm the ship was like the Mary Celeste.

We have decided on Thomson Dream as lots of people we have met say they are really good & fun cruises, the ships are old & not big & modern like the cruises we have been on. I am looking forward to our cruise & will be giving my honest opinion on it when I return.

  2. Thanks for the lists, very interesting.

A few questions about the list as I can't read them properly.

Am I right in thinking that all the coffees & the Baileys are on the list of the drinks package that are without a supplement.

Also if I order a Bacardi & Coke, do I have to pay for the coke, because on the list is shows Coke comes with a supplement.

    Thank you.

  3. Thank you for your wonderful travelogue & photos, both you & Dana are showing us fabulous postings.

I love your photos on Cartagena & Getsemani & now hope I can get a cruise that visits there, it looks a wonderful place. I notice from your photos that all the streets were very clean, was that the norm? Where we live there is still the leaves in the gutters & pavements from last Autumn.

    Cheers

  4. I received an email from "documentation@rccl". electronic cruise documents 6 weeks before sailing on the Equinox on the 19th May.

I opened the link & have Guest Ticket Booklet & on page 7 were the luggage labels which I was able to print out.

  5. Excellent comparison Celebrity v Princess Thank you.

We have been on 3 times on Celebrity & 2 Princess, found both about equal, but if I had to pick one it would be Celebrity.

We will on the Equinox in May & may possibly changing views on our favourite line.

I think that cruising in it's entirety is subjective & this brings me to wondering will I be sailing differently from either of these in the future as our last two cruises were on the Allure of the Seas & NCL Epic. We enjoyed both of these as they had excellent entertainment programme. I am in my seventies & I like the non-stop entertainment on both these ships & wonder if the Celebrity & Princess may be too sedate for me now.

Of course the food is important, but have found as others have that over the years it has been downgraded & feel that all are getting to be of the same standard. The Allure of the Seas stood out for us as it had four dining places, without charge, & Epic three.

The most boring ship we have been on was the Azamara Quest, super ship & food but as someone else has mentioned regarding HAL, the ship after 10.30pm was like the Mary Celeste.

Staff on all ships we have found excellent with exception of QE2 ( our cabin steward never spoke or smiled)

For us our choice of a favourite will be down to entertainment.

    Cheers.
