  1. We were went to Borghese gallery two weeks ago, the second floor is currently closed for renovations. That’s where most of the paintings are on exhibit. They have moved some of the paintings to the main floor but the majority are at the Museum Barberini. We still felt it was well worth the visit.
  2. No, we had been in Tuscany took the train to Rome and then the train to the airport. Sorry, I can’t answer your question.
  3. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at the airport over the weekend. The shuttle bus is easy to get outside terminal 3 and drops you at the front door of the hotel. This was by far the best stay we have ever had at a Hilton Garden Inn. The front desk staff were so knowledgable and friendly. The breakfast buffet was well presented, plentiful and delicious. It’s a perfect choice for a stay before an early morning flight. The girl at the desk recommended a restaurant in Fiumicino. It was 25 euros to get there by taxi but well worth the money. The restaurant was located along the canal with nice water views. The canal was a very pleasant place to take a walk and have a drink. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again. The next morning jumped on the shuttle bus and went to the airport in under 10 minutes.
  4. Thank you Lew! Just booked the wine tasting dinner! We like more than just a little bit.😊
  5. Thank you again, all of this has been extremely helpful!
  6. Thank you euro cruiser, this information is very helpful!
  7. I have been looking at the train schedule for this May. We need to go from Rome to Assisi and it shows the times but says that it cannot be booked due possible timetable updates because of line maintenance. Is this fairly common and anyone have any idea when when they will make the tickets available.
  8. We enjoyed Raw on 5 for lunch on the Edge, actually went a couple of times. You can make a lunch reservation once you board.
  9. We went to Hato Caves last week on our Equinox trip. It was very hot in the caves, so I would recommend grabbing a bottle of water before leaving the ship and dressing comfortably. I was surprised we weren’t required to wear closed toe shoes but at the very least I would wear sandals with a strap and not flip flops. We had a fabulous time on the Equinox doing the same itinerary as you will be doing. Also, sailed in a balcony cabin after only sailing in the Retreat on E class ships post Covid. Murano was a treat with amazing food and service. Tuscan for the elite breakfast was a nice quiet alternative to the buffet, someplace we never went when we had access to Luminae.
  10. So happy to read these positive reviews. We will be on Equinox in January with friends who haven’t been on a cruise in 20 years and never on Celebrity.
  11. Thank you! 45% off premium drink package for January cruise.
  12. Haven’t been on Eclipse in awhile but when we were they did have rowing machines. My DD is a rower and she used them everyday. Hope this helps.
