I am searching for premium Economy tickets from SFO to Tokyo for our cruise in October of 2024. I came across a reasonable price for a Refundable Non-stop on ANA. I was booking thru the United website and wanted to try ANA. I was about to book when I realized that United does not give you credit for ANY miles when you book Premium Economy. They do for Economy or Business class but not for Premium Economy. I called United to see if this was an error and they said NO, it is not a mistake. Just wanted you all to be aware. I almost missed that detail.

What did you bring back from the Greek Isles that was the most popular for your adult children and spouses? Something useful but unique to the area.

But sometimes one spouse wants to take a shower and go to bed where the other spouse wants to sit out in the fresh air and share drinks with their cruising companions.

I wish they did because we generally cruise together with friends or family booking side by side cabins and we join our balconies together. This is the way we like to socialize with a drink in the evenings. I want to try the new ships but this stops me.

Is this ‘down sizing’ of MDR food quality / variety fleet wide or just on the Silhouette? Are they trying it out on one ship or have they implemented it on all?

I am busy packing for our upcoming cruise in a couple of weeks and I see the ‘crazy’ high temps in Rome and Barcelona. As we travel out at sea and through the Greek Islands at night - is it likely to get chilly (into the 60’s)? Do I need to pack a sweater? AND what about in the dining room (we will be in Blu) at dinner and other parts of the ship? Is it overly air conditioned to where I will need a shawl ? thanks.

I would avoid the buffet. Too much risk of cross contamination from fellow passengers switching out serving utensils.

Right - I have not ever booked into a Group rate with Celebrity. Travel Agent or Big Box is what I have used.

I always try to seek out a GROUP rate. Have saved as much as 50% and they are always refundable. (PS I am not Canadian - if that makes a difference)

If you have OBC left at the end of your cruise, will they automatically use it to cover any costs you accrued on-board? Or do you have to go to Guest Relations to tell them to apply the OBC?

Please make a note of any issues with vibrations in the cabin. Another recent review found it quite disturbing. I am heading out on the Reflection in September and will read your review with great anticipation.

Soooo… Check-In is midnight :01 on the date given for your cruise - but what time zone?? Is it the departure port time zone ? Or the East Coast USA time zone (as some have mentioned)??
