Bon Voyage and thank you for the photo. I have been trying to get a live web cam to watch your departure but no luck. This is the only way we can cruise at the moment! Like the above poster, we will not be cruising till July 2022.

But, I thought the Canadian border is open, to the US Citizens' though. Having it opened one way and not the other, makes no sense to me.
You, and all the rest of us but that's the way it is, thanks to Biden.

Teabag —- While this is often true it isn’t always true. Sometimes travel agents act as a pass-through and the OBC actually comes from Celebrity, not from the agent, meaning that it is nonrefundable and you would not get it back
That's why I italicized "not". We always ask the TA who is paying the OBC. perhaps I should have said this. Thanks for bringing it up.

In all the B2B's and B2B2B's we have done, we have had the invitation to the lunch once. Never had seen a raffle. We have always received the B2B discount
-
You don't say who you booked through. If your OBC is from a travel agency and not Celebrity, you don't have to spend it. It will be returned to your CC after the cruise. We have had this done many times.

The more the merrier. There are not many cruise lines sailing this itinerary so I guess that's why they don't need to put it on sale. i looked at Cunard, Singapore to Southampton. Now that's a nice itinerary but I know nothing about Cunard.

There are 75 sailings that are included, but the Spice Route is definitely not one of them, so the price is what is was yesterday.
ECC is correct. I spent a good while this AM looking up the available cabins on the May 5, 2023 sailing. It is well booked already, unless the booked cabins have been grabbed by agencies for future group sales. Our same cabin is over $4000 more than the 2022 price. Maybe they know how much we want to sail this itinerary. We booked anyway. I have written them but I know it won't amount to a hill of beans.

Thanks to the person who posted the itineraries. I am a bit disappointed that with the exception of two cruises (Tokyo-Singapore & Singapore to Athens), nothing is outside of Europe.
A lot of us are excited to see the Singapore to Athens being offered again. I do agree the prices have gone up a lot. However, that is explained by the absence of the 60% off second passenger. sale. Maybe they'll offer it later if the interest is less than they hope.

So glad you had the Lava cake. I had to wipe the drool off my desk.
I think we bought our magnetic hooks from Ali Express.

We have not received ours either. I'm totally fed up with all these cancelled cruises and then having to fight to get our money back.
-
I am not an experienced Azamara cruiser having not sailed with themyet but I am booked. by all means ask for the lower price. We did on a B2b we had booked that was cancelled ultimately but we did get the lower price.
This is not regarding your query but did you know that when you book a B2B Azamara gives OBC's on each segment?
4 nights $150
5 - 8 $300
9 + $400.
Hope you get this sorted to your satisfaction.

Bon Voyage. We look forward to this cruise through your eyes. Thank you for taking time to post.

Definitely the way to go. I'm also happy to see mandatory vaccinations for health care workers. if they'd had rules like this long ago we wouldn't be where we are now.

Very annoyed. I have received nothing, nada. But what does it matter, I'll never reach zenith anyway.

This link seems to work for all surveys, it always redirects to the current survey.
Thank you very much. i have submitted my correct answers. it remains to be seen if I will get crediti as someone said this quiz was not sent to North Americans.

I am envious of all you UK people as we were booked on Silhouette Aug 26 - Sept 18 (B2B) and they cancelled our cruises to sail in the UK only. Enjoy everyone. Silhouette is a lovely ship. Have a meal in the Lawn Club Grill for me! I'm so happy you will be free to enjoy the ports on your own.

I would like to think the extra cash we give our cabin steward would be for him alone, since he is the one who did such a great job of looking after us but I understand they may have to share it.

I feel very sorry for you mirkymirk having to make this decision when you followed the rules as they were presented to you. Looking forward to a cruise should be a delight.
I was also going to suggest you look at the Canadian Cruiser forum as there is lots of advice there. However, it all comes down to the unknown....like someone said, what if you test positive on board?
I would cancel. If you had to eat separately from your wife and not be able to join in activities on board, I don't know how you could enjoy the cruise. I guess you could use room service for meals.
We have made the decision not to cruise till July as DH is immuno compromised. We are also looking at flying to Bellingham to get a third shot but it seems a bit iffy at the moment.
I hope you solve this to your satisfaction.

Well tonights supper was a lively event, with "lively" discussion re the travel passport.
The antivaxer DS was en pointe tonight..... DH can't get past the call to election, and I'm miffed that the Feds are involve with this passport, but there is no other way but, to have it federal, if we want international gates of entry to recognize us.
Bring on the passport, and bring on my booster..... I am ready🛳️
So are we!

i didn't get the European one just the one for booking which I'm not interested in. Could someone post the link for the European quiz one? TIA

I'm envious. Do you get back to Seattle tomorrow?
-
Thanks for the pictures. Unfortunately they won't be welcoming us aboard till next July. Looooong wait but really looking forward to trying out this cruiseline.

So glad we have nothing booked on Celebrity till the end of 2022 and we might just cancel that too. We have totally lost our confidence in them.

We got great weather in Alaska in Sept also. Lots of the shops are shutting down for the season too as many of them operate in the Caribbean in the winter so you might get yourself some bargains. Do pack for rain though and slip in a pair of gloves for the viewing of the glaciers. You DO want to be outside on the top deck for this so you can see and hear the calving. Have a great cruise.

Have a great cruise, Anne. Your Holland house stay sounds wonderful. I would never fly in the day of a cruise because it is so enjoyable to stay somewhere nice precruise and then be relaxed when you board. I know there are reasons why people can't arrive ahead but it's wonderful if you can. Bon Voyage.
