I have to apologize to everyone tonight. We are finishing dinner at Chops but will not be able to make it to Schooner to say goodbye. My knee is killing me and my cankles are so swollen I have a hard time walking. Needless to say getting old is a pain in the you know what. I can’t tell you how much I’ve enjoyed this week. It’s been life changing for me. I now have life long friendships that I will cherish forever. This cruise has renewed my faith in humanity in that you can take a variety of people who don’t know each other very well and have never met and becomes close friends over our bonds of cruising and posting on cruise critic. I look forward to staying in touch with many of you and also cruising together in the future. We are family now bonded over the love of a little dog that has captured our hearts. Safe travels until we meet again. Cheers, Sea Dog

Cat’s A Sea Dog Review "Ladies and gentlemen, gather 'round because I have a tale to tell. A tale of a musical so wild, so wacky, so utterly ridiculous, that it will leave you in stitches. I am, of course, talking about the one, the only, "Cats"! Where do I begin? The costumes? Oh, the costumes. Picture a bunch of grown adults, covered head to toe in fur, prancing around like they're auditioning for a role in a Disney movie. And let's not forget the makeup. Whiskers, cat ears, and glitter, oh my! And the music? Oh, the music. It's like Andrew Lloyd Webber took a handful of cat sounds and turned them into a symphony. I half expected the orchestra to break out into a round of "meow meow meow" at any moment. And the plot? Well, there really isn't one. Just a bunch of cats singing and dancing about, trying to be chosen as the one to ascend to cat heaven. It's like a feline version of "The Hunger Games," but with less death and more sparkles. But the real star of the show? The choreography. Picture cats doing the "Single Ladies" dance, or a tap routine set to "Memory." It's like a fever dream, and I mean that in the best way possible. It’s really performance art. I’ reminded of the great Stravinsky ballet “Le Sacre du Printemps or the “Rite of Spring.” When audiences first saw it in the early 1900’s they hated it with its weird music (synth parts here) and the wild choreography. So, if you're looking for a good laugh, a dose of nostalgia, and a healthy dose of absurdity, then "Cats" is the show for you. Just don't blame me if you find yourself singing "Memory" in the shower for the next month. In short, I can't recommend this musical enough, it's a roller coaster of emotions, a true spectacle that will leave you in awe and laughter and maybe scratching your head thinking, what was that about?

Last night in the MDR with incredible waiter Arvin and Assistant Waiter Putu. These guys went above and beyond. Great meals all week long Lobster night. Also some cheese tortellini. Dining room manager and I talked earlier in the week about trying some Indian dishes. He sent over some shrimp curry. finished with Molten Chocolate Cake. Obviously food is subjective but I found all of our food this week to be fantastic. I did not have one bad meal. Tomorrow last night will be Chops.

I know Shakespeare wasn’t Irish but I’m feeling more inspired as a writer all dressed up in a tux on St. Patrick’s Day. So I’ll drink a Jameson and wonder what ole William would write about it. Oh sweet elixir, how doth thy colors blend In thy crystal chalice, so smoothly doth descend A symphony of flavors on my tongue doth play Each sip doth take me on a journey far away I know not what thy nectar doth contain But with each sip, my worries and my pain Are lifted, and my spirits doth soar With thy sweet ambrosia, forevermore I'll raise my glass and drink to thy creation For in thy liquid form, true joy and elation I've found, and to thy maker, I'll give praise For this divine cocktail, my heart will always raise. So let us drink and be merry, for this moment so fine.

It was beautiful John. Hey next week email me at gsteele(number)7 at g (gmail) dot com. I need to talk to you !!!!!!! I asked about him and they said he wasn’t there today. There were a lot of vendors but we just smiled and said no thank you and they moved on. Linda did buy one of those straw brim hats that said KC chiefs and had their logo on each side. Can you say copyright infringement??? yes it’s more expensive due to it being all inclusive but I think I spent about the same price at Krazy Lobster as I am here. You can spread the loungers out. It’s been perfect for us.
