  1. For entrees I ordered the beef tenderloin medium rare which was fantastic. And the Seafood Alfredo Linguine. It tasted bland from the Alfredo sauce (needed more Parmesan and ground black pepper) but had lots a seafood pieces so it was acceptable. Better sauce than the shrimp Alfredo from Willie G’s.
  2. Gotta love snails in a garlic butter sauce. I also got the crispy calamari but dug in and forgot to take a pic. Bad Sea Dog… bad dog.
  3. Manhattan with Buffalo Trace because they did not have Templeton Rye even in bough the R-Bar had it.
  4. Can’t get any better than sitting down to our table in the MDR and seeing this.
  5. Yes I did. You can order as many entrees as you want. I did the Lobster Thermidor and the veal together. The lobster is not that big. Phone is great but I haven’t shot hardly anything in the 48mp Raw format. Too much of a pain to down convert and upload to CC. I do think the camera performs really well in low light. So far I’m very impressed. I need to start shooting in 48mp and see what it can do. Looks like you are having a blast. Me too I just don’t have the stamina after the injury. I’m drinking way less.
  6. Don’t have the exact recipe for the New Fashioned but here are the the ingredients. You could probably do approximates. I had one last night in the Schooner Bar. All the Schooner Bartenders should know how to make it.
  7. Thank you all for your kind words and support. One thing us fellow CC'ers like to do is spread the joy of cruising to others.
  8. Lunch in the MDR. Starter a nice Caprese Salad.Nice and light. Juxtaposition with a heavy Grilled Sirloin with a Bearnaise Sauce and French Fries. Steak had a great grilled taste to it. Dark Chocolate Custard for dessert. Can’t go wrong. Overall a very nice lunch. Going to get some sun on the top deck, listen to some great Reggae and take a nap See you later.
  9. Will do. Does he work any particular bar? I wish I could answer that but we are not Diamond yet and can’t go in. If I can find out the answer I’ll let you know.
  10. Top Tier info: Captain Marvin said the ship was full with guest numbering shy of 4,000 and a crew of 1,000 I did not get all C&A counts but I did hear there was 963 Gold, 143 Emerald, 269 Diamond and 52 Pins. Top Cruiser had 2,689 points Entertainment was provide by a couple of the Royal singers. and a pretty good imitation of Rodney Dangerfield by on of the MDR Head Waiters. IMG_9473.MOV Good time was had by all.
  11. Good point. I would have stood instead of asking to sit down because of my shoulder.
  12. totally agree and Gossling’s technically for a Dark-Stormy but I prefer it Kraken. That’s too bad. Starlink is up and working good on Liberty. Had this in the morning. Isnt get to be greeted by Louie the XIII? Did you get a glass. get the Lobster Thermidor and the veal together. They were both very good. cheers! Glad you are having a great cruise.
  13. My kind of snacks. Sorry I’m late thanks for permitting to come aboard. I’ll probably re read everything when I have more time. I saved your drink list. I would like to match you but think I better take it easy with a broken collarbone. Alcohol on Liberty is lacking. Boats full, shy of 4,000 guests
  14. I just love Josh Allen. In my opinion he’s a better QB than Mahomes. Chiefs O line was horrid. Going to be a long season for the chiefs if they don’t start playing better. I am a firm believer that things happen for a reason. Not sure what the reason was for a broken collarbone but our meeting with Elaine was meant to be. She needed someone to help her and watch over her. I can tell she is still grieving. Linda and I are determined to be a guardian Angel for her.
  15. Remember the lady we met in line for entrance into the terminal. She lost her husband not too long ago and this was her first ever cruise that she was supposed to go on with her husband. We ran into her again. Her name is Elaine. She felt relieved that she saw us. She is still struggling as she does not know what to do. We gave her some suggestions and finds out she is on our excursion tomorrow in Cozumel. We told her to hang with us. Linda and I have adopted her and promised her a good time. I gave her our cabin numbers and our phone numbers. I told her if she had any questions, concerns or felt lonely to call us. We would be there for her. Felt good to help someone in need. It renews my faith in humanity.
