  1. @Ocean Boy Maybe this Hallmark Christmas movie might interest you? ”Navigating Christmas.” About a mom and son who visit a remote island for Christmas only to find themselves running a real working lighthouse.
  2. My doctor thought it could have happened lying on the operating table during surgery and the nerves got constricted. My doctor brother says it can be relieved by using a ultrasound and injecting some sort of liquid into the nerve. Not sure I understand all that but he says he does it all the time with great success. He has a good friend here who did my knee injections who he said can do it. I have my first post op appointment today and will talk to them about it.
  3. Thanks I will ask my doctor about that. Just got back from the Cat scan. I hated drinking two bottles of that barium. Yucky tasting and then they put a IV in me of dye for some other imaging. My stomach feels horrible right now.
  4. Thanks for asking. On the whole pretty good. This knee is responding better than my first knee replacement. I leave here shortly for my first post op with the surgeon but first having a cat scan this morning on my groin to see if I have a hernia. I also have some numbness in my other leg on the outer thigh. My doctor thinks it’s meralgia paraesthetica from a constricted nerve. Hopefully it will go away with time. So all and all I am getting there. Still tough to sleep at night with some pain issues but I’m off the Oxycodone and I am walking without a cane and I can drive. One day at a time.

  6. I know most television broadcasts are not in 4K but do you see a quality increase? I’m sure 4K material looks awesome.
  7. We use Gmail and like it a lot. We love Gmail. With YouTube TV on our Apple TV we just use the Apple TV remote. All of our other TV’s have a Google supplied remote.
  8. With a new router you will need to set it up by creating a password. It can be your same old password but you will need to re connect every device to that new router that uses wi-fi since that new router will have a different IP address. Pretty simple to do
  9. Wow talk about stressful. I am so happy you had a happy ending. Same thing happened to us with our cat Sam when we were living in a temporary apartment while our house was being built. Some how Sam got out . We spent days looking for him. He was an indoor cat so I knew the outside was not a good or even familiar place for him. 3 days later we were sitting in the living room at night watching some tv. He started to here some meowing and looked outside by the patio door and there he was. I don’t know how he remembered what apartment we were in as they look alike but we’re so happy. I’m glad it was a happy ending for you too.

  11. That’s what I like about YouTube TV no physical DVR everything is in the cloud so you have it forever. As no limit to how much you save.
  12. YouTube TV has all my local channels for the NFL and MLB plus I get a bunch of Fox Sports Channels and the NFL network. YouTube TV also has a NFL package for all the games even though I am not a subscriber to that.
  13. We have YouTube TV and pay $100 less than what we were paying for cable. Now we do subscribe to a bunch of additional streaming services such as , Hulu, Disney Plus, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Max (formerly HBO), Paramount Plus, Peacock, and a few others. Needless to say I like my media and like viewing options.
  14. Thanks for your comments. Thank goodness our calendars on our phones sync up. I imagine it will get crazy once she and I both have therapy appointments . She wants to schedule it before Christmas so we may have to adjust our activities. It’s going to be what it’s going to be.
  15. She met with the surgeon today he thinks she would be able to do the cruise. We might need to save back some of the excursions but he thinks it’s doable. My physical therapist thinks otherwise. I am confused.
