  1. I would not hesitate to book Romeinlimo, I have used them for my last two trips to Italy and can honestly say that I would not have had as great a trip if not for them. They took us all over Italy as well as my transfers to and from the airport both times. Their drivers are very knowledgeable and take very good care of you and of course if you do your research you can tell them what and where you would like to see. Trying to do this on your own you just won't accomplish nearly as much and the stress of navigating the area is not easy.

I would not wait to book with them as others have said they are very busy and popular and book up early, working with Jany is so very easy and she will work with you and set up what you would like to see, you just have to let her know. If you email them you will always get a quick response and they will work to make your time with them the best it can be. I love this company and if I ever get back to Italy I will be sure to book them again. Give them a call and it will be the best decision you could make for your vacation

  3. Is there a place on Carnival's website to see what they have for internet plans. My brother is traveling with us and is a VP at a major hospital and has to keep connected. I just wanted to let him know what they had for plans as I have never used the internet on a cruise. Thanks Linda

  4. Thanks for the replies, all I know is she told me it was ES and when she called Carnival the PVP told her she would lose all her deposit. Her final payment was December 28th and she called in early November to cancel. I told her to call back and speak with someone else and ask to talk to a supervisor and to not give up until she got some answers. The $600 was in American so it was a lot more in Canadian. I don't know if there is a place to look on Carnival's website to check and see if you have a future cruise credit or not.

  5. I have a friend that booked early saver and they live in Canada. Her final payment date was December 28th and because the Canadian dollar is so bad right now they decided to cancel in November. When she called to cancel the PVP on the phone told her that there was nothing they could do and that she would lose all her deposit. I told her that was not true that she would lose $100 and $500 would go to a credit for a future booking. Told her to call back and get someone else on the phone but still they took her entire $600 deposit and no credit for a future cruise. I was wondering if someone had a number that she could call to talk to someone that could help her. She doesn't mind losing the $100 but $600 is a lot and she did cancel well before the final payment date.

Any help would really be appreciated, thanks Linda

  6. I just took the Grandeur, in May to Bermuda. I don't know if it was the crowd or what but I called it the Snooze Cruise, by 11 at night there wasn't anything going on anywhere. You could walk all the venues and there was no one and only one bar open on the Lido deck. Actually there wasn't much going on in the daytime either, I just found it a very boring ship with not much to do. Don't look for anything to eat late at night because there isn't any unless you get room service which is very limited and you will pay for it. Just saying I would not go back on that ship for anything. Don't get me wrong the ship was well maintained and the staff were friendly but if you were looking to have some fun it wasn't on this ship, also the food in the MD was not near as good as Carnival. I just wanted to say that I saw the inside cabins on this ship and I would go bonkers in such a tiny space, I have closets bigger then these rooms. We had a JS and they were really nice and big but I just could not believe how small the inside cabins were. I have had inside on Carnival and there is a big difference in size.

  7. We always sail the aft and love it. Never had a suite on Carnival but just had a JS on RC and we never used the tub just the shower. If you aren't in your room that much I would save the money and just stay with the cabin you have. The balconies are a good size and the views are great.

  8. Generally how many FTTF do they sell on any given ship, because if they sell it to tons of people what would be the benefit of getting it if everyone and their brother also had it. Just wondering as I haven't sailed on Carnival since they started this program. Thanks Linda

  9. My Durango does not have these, but the couple of time we were parked at the port we only had to show handicap tag and fill out a short form. It might have changed since we last were there, thanks for the help.

  10. I haven't cruised on Carnival since 2009 and was wondering if Carnival allows you to bring two bottles of wine on board like RC and do they still open the dividers to balconies. On our recent RC cruise last month they wouldn't do it, they told me they were no longer allowed to have the dividers open for safety reasons. I'm not sure what kind of safety reasons those could be but they would not do it. If anyone could help with these questions I would really appreciate it. Thanks Linda
