Did the dollar amount include the original taxes and fees you paid for the first cruise?

I recently had that same discussion with my husband. We may book air for the cruise we want and wait for the price to drop to what we think will be our best deal.

Which port to which airport?

Cb2367, I just got 25% of the difference back in onboard credit when I called my TA. Speak to a live person and ask them to contact Norwegian for you. 

 My other option that NCL was willing to do was to upgrade me one category in the same cabin type. I opted for the $. 

This occurred 24 days before my sail date, long after final payment was made.

If you’re not paid in full, you can rebook at the Lowe rate. However, if perks have changed, you will receive the current promotions, mot those you have currently.

After final payment, NCL will allow a one time change to your booking, refunding 25% of the difference in onboard credit.

My ship docks at 8:00 and I have a tour with Strawberry scheduled for 9:00. Just make sure someone goes to get a number to disembark as early as possible.

When you check in online, you can select your arrival time. Once at the port, you’ll be given a number that will be called for you to board.

No need to wait.unless you’re expecting fares to go down significantly and want to upgrade. Either way, you can start the check in process.

I think the price is determined by how large the ship. My Sky cruise is renting for $325 and $350.

The only pool I went in last April to Bermuda was the hot tub, and that wasn’t even that hot. We did sit out, but it was windy and cool.

I was on the phone today with my TA after reading this post. Price drops put a sail away balcony at the same price I paid for an ocean view with perks. 

TA called NCL to request upgrade or OBC to compensate. NCL would upgrade to sail away balcony, but I would lose perks or I could upgrade from OJ to OH cabin OR keep cabin and get $100 OBC.

From what I’ve read on these boards, the rules are different for passengers from the U.K. than they are for those in the US. You probably do get the LaVazza coffee.

This is an upgrade of the old Ultimate Beverage Package ( now called the Premium Beverage Package). The Premium Plus does include bottled waters and LaVazza coffee. It also eliminates the $15 max per drink.

Sorry for the confusion. Last I heard, they were Ultimate and Premium Plus. I thought you were referring to Premium Plus.

Water and juice anytime, coffee only during meals.

Taking this from an entirely different perspective, you don’t need to book excursions through NCL. Start looking on the internet for private excursions for what you want to do. They are typically half the price and more intimate than those booked through the ship.

Another option is to get off and look for tour operators near the pier, if you are willing to take that chance. Plenty of choices there as well.

We have done both and always had a great time.

I’ve been told the waitstaff cannot bring mixed drinks, but never had a problem being served wine.

Yes, you have already been charged the 20% Gratuities, but read further below the chart!

Latebloomer56, on the link ggTexasgirl posted it even states SDP includes one main dish pp, nothing about multiple apps, sides or desserts. So sorry your server didn’t know this.

What nobody has mentioned is there is now a second tier drink package being offered. The Ultimate Beverage Package includes alcoholic drinks by the glass and beer costing under $15. 

For additional money, you can purchase or upgrade to the Premium Plus Beverage Package that includes all glasses of alcoholic beverage no matter the price, fresh juice, bottled water, and specialty coffee with meals.

I’ve read that some of the call brands are being price higher to encourage the purchase of this new package.

I’ve never had anything but great food at Lola’s.
