  1. BINGO!!!! That's what I wanted to hear. Thank you I will give them a call and report back. Is there anyone in particular that you speak to with NCL Premium Air ?
  2. It is an administrative fee that is per person that is non refundable. Looks like a commission charge to me for handling the booking.
  3. I am looking for any feedback on using NCL premium air service. Was it easy to book through them? Are you able to pick your own flights and seats? We are going in September 2024 on the Escape Mediterranean cruise out of Barcelona. I want to fly in and spend 2 nights precruise and possibly stay one night post cruise. I know I can book this by myself. Just curious about this NCL service and if it is worth the $50.00 per person fee. Any feedback will be much appreciated!
  4. I saw that ☺️ We are already booked in a club balcony so that won't work this time. I won't be running around canceling and re booking an excursion just to use the on board credit. Makes more sense to either hold off for our next cruise or just use it as statement credit depending on how many excursions I book for our Escape Mediterranean cruise next year.
  5. Hi all Just applied for the NCL BOA card which has the $200 on board credit. My question is can you use this $200 on board credit towards pre booking excursions before your cruise actually starts like Royal Caribbean allows you to do, or do you need to be on the cruise to actually use it. I tried to find the answer and don't see this question anywhere. Thanks!
  6. I booked it because of the ratings online and free cancellation. I like the location too.
  7. These 2 hotels are on the top of my list too. I just booked H10 Metropolitan for 2 nights pre cruise and 1 night after our cruise. I did cancel at any time and the free breakfast. Hotel Jazz is not taking reservations for when we are going yet. When the reservations open up for September 2024 I will check then. It looks like Hotel Jazz is a less expensive hotel.
  8. We used Dial 7 they were great ☺️ We have used them from Suffolk County many times.
  9. The 2 paid Carousel shows are really good. We enjoyed them both. I purchased the tickets for $12 per person before the cruise. Once onboard we made reservations easily when we went to reserve our specialty dinners. Both shows have great dancing and the singers. Houdini is about the magician and Rock Circus is well rock music. The same actors/singers/dancers are in both shows. Anywhere you sit is good in the theater as the stage is in the round. You can't go wrong with either show if picking just one.
  10. Wow good to know about the additional discount! I guess I will be checking for this to come back! Now I am wondering if the front balcony room will be noisy because of the street.
  11. Was this your fist stay with H10 hotels? I signed up with Club H10 before I made my online booking. This will be our first time so I am curious if we still qualify for the free breakfast. I reserved the room with the breakfast now.
  12. I looked online and all the reviews were great. I booked the H10 Metropolitan for our September 2024 cruise 2 nights pre cruise and one night post cruise. I only saw the 5% discount. How did you upgrade the booking when you saw the additional discount? Also what type of rooms did you book? I booked the Rambla double room with the balcony for our first 2 nights and then the double for the one night after the cruise. Thanks
  13. I am looking at this hotel for next year. Would love to hear any reviews also!
  14. We had Fantastica with a balcony on Meraviglia. Love the balcony as we do use it almost daily. In the summer out of NY it is usable right away. During the winter leaving NY the first day I do not use it but I love the view. Usually in a day you are fine in the winter to enjoy it outside on your balcony as you are approaching the Carolinas.
  15. You do not need a drink package to get the soft serve at the pool. Just walk up to the counter and tell them what you want. Chocolate, Vanilla, Twist with both, rainbow sprinkles or chocolate sprinkles 🙂 We did not upgrade to the streaming package. The wifi worked great for emails, texting back home and our apps.
  16. Surprisingly the Brooklyn port was no problem for us. We were coming from Long Island and usually we drive to NJ for RCCL and park our car there but I was hesitant not knowing what to expect the first time in Brooklyn. We used a car service and it took us about 40 minutes to get there. Plenty of parking is available and the lot was not even full as I was able to see the lot from my cabin balcony. When you first pull into the port area there is a car pick up area under the blue awning on the right side. Continue around and there are plenty of cabs waiting in the middle section for passengers. Continue past that and there is the luggage drop off and then the terminal. Keep going and there are signs directing you to parking. We went out of Manhattan on NCL and to me the car service pick up was a pain because we had to leave the terminal, cross the street and walk a few blocks to where the car was able to pick us up from. Brooklyn was easier.
  17. We asked and was told the ship was close to full capacity. Funny thing is the ship never felt crowded anywhere!
  18. Only one gala night. It was the 2nd night of the cruise. Also there are lobster tails that night in the main dining room. Instead of surf and turf I had turf and turf.
  19. There is a tram that goes around the island. I did see golf carts go by maybe they are for the YC guests?.
  20. I spoke to one of the officers onboard about this. He said they are planning to have 2 ships home port in Brooklyn sometime next year!
  21. If you are yacht club or have the drink package they are no charge.
  22. There were many scooters on the ship. It would be hard to use them in the Buffet. Most of the scooters were left by the front area of the buffet but getting around the decks is fine.
  23. Here is a shot of the stairs. Just beautiful!
